Looks like a little spaniel mix collie
AnonymousMemberI went to visit this fantastic little girl yesterday in her wonderfully loving foster home. She is a beautiful little dog with loads of personality and who is really gentle and sweet natured. She has come on in leaps and bounds with the care of her kind foster mum and dad. This little girl clearly had a sad past but looks really well with a happy future ahead of her.
AnonymousMemberOne of the best things for dandruff and I kid you not is head and shoulders, yes the human shampoo!!!
Works brilliantly and perfectly safe for doggies. Easier solution and no discomfort.
Also another product to use in food is cannyglo (not sure if spelling is correct will have to check the bottle) but full of good oils for the skin.
AnonymousMemberDefinately stick with Royal Canin or choose another of the high quality brands. Supermarkets foods on a whole tend to be full of sugar and additives and will have her hyper. They also can cause long term illness later in life like diabetes etc. They are similar to eating fast food for us everyday. Unfortunately when it comes to dogs you need to be cruel to be kind either keep reducing the amount of tuna you are mixing over a period of a few days or get salmon oil and mix it either and eventually she should eat it dry. Or just play it tough and leave it there until she eats it, once she gets hungry enough she will eat it and you shouldnt have further problems. The reason she is not eating it is that she has worked out there is often something better to go into her bowl if she doesn’t. Either that or try a few different foods and see if she likes them. You can usually get good quality foods in free sample bags in pet shops. You could also try her on the Royal Canin Maxi (Blue bag) which she might prefer.
AnonymousMemberShe is stunning….looks a bit Old English Sheepdog x Lab…..maybe I am wrong! But fab!
AnonymousMemberThis guy is tiny at the moment but was surrendered in as a collie cross springer so will be high energy dog and medium in size when fully grown.
AnonymousMemberOr in this case as they were handed out on the street…..we don’t know who mum or dad are…
AnonymousMemberUnfortunately we do not know or may never know ….
AnonymousMemberTwiglet is going to his new home tomorrow!!!
AnonymousMemberAnonymousMemberI will post up on this topic asap am currently writing on an advice sheet.
Personally I would avoid grapes, onions (not garlic), chocolate, cheese, milk (eggs and yogurt fine), tomatoes, raw potato.
Carrots and Apples (minus seeds) are good for dogs
AnonymousMemberPost them up here! You never know!!!!
AnonymousMemberFrom her new mum:
Lacey, talk about being in love, she is the best little dog we could have hoped for and thankfully my asthma & allergies are grand around her
She is a complete dote and everyone in the house has fallen completely in love with her. We had her in Marley Park on Sunday for a big walk, they have an enclosed area where you can let your dog off the lead to run around and play with the other dogs, she absolutely loved it and was so good with the other dogs, she is the perfect pooch
She is a feisty little thing and even though she went through the trauma of getting neutered yesterday, she is back to her lively funny self today.
WE are so glad to have this great little addition to our family, we will love & cherish her to bits and will keep you posted on how she is getting on!
will keep you all posted on how she is getting on, tks again for everything.
