We met Whiskey yesterday to do a road trip. He was very enthusiastic with an open heart that was full of trust. He is a dog that came across as very clever and interested in all going on around him. I’d say he’d do great in a class and be a super fast learner. He was good with the dogs he met and a real charming dude.
Wishing Whiskey a fab forever home soon!

I Only Wanted You
They say memories are golden
well maybe that is true;
I never wanted memories
I only wanted you.
A million times I needed you
a million times I cried;
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still;
In my heart you hold a place
no one could ever fill.
If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane;
I’d walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same;
But as God calls us one by one
the chain will link again.

Thanks Indianna! Brandon has gotten very comfortable in his own fur…he’s improved around other dogs and known show to ask for what he wants. I think he’s super clever…he even knows that when he goes off walks that carrying something in his mouth makes him feel secure…he figured it out by himself…he’s a regular Victoria Stilwell.

Brandon had a photo shoot with Dabs courtesy of a birthday present for me from my colleagues…here’s the two photos of the boys we’re liking..In the past year Dabs, who is 12, has had a couple of big operations and I’m glad we made it through..

Since some of the humans were giving the tempting dog cakes and treats WAY too much attention we had to put up a sign to let them know who they were for. With ingredients like beetroot, pumpkin and sweet potato who could blame them for being curious?!

Sorry to hear this Jetta, he was lucky you took him out of the kennels and after that set-back you did so much to socialise him with other dogs…and you took him back when his adoption didn’t work out. You were there for this boy.
There is a photo or two on Facebook posted by Ash Animal Rescue..

Oscar is famous…
Well Oscar wanted to do a "selfie" but then decided that was sooo last season and he more importantly realised that since dogs haven’t opposable thumbs it would be better to have a forever person with excellent photography skills to take a photo. He said that it’s more a "cutie" than a "selfie" for DID…

Hi dear Penny, we hope you are feeling better, you are always our favourite with your fun photos…get well really soon please..
Brandon had a hairdo last Friday and a liberal application of some Esau d’toilette to make him a complete dandy. Here’s his best pose…feeling very pleased with himself. The groomer reported that "he wasn’t too bad, even with other dogs". There you have it, a grade A glowing report!

Thank you, here’s a photo Dabs’ grandpa took today while was at work of the patient in active recovery.

Dabs is starting to improve after his surgery on Monday. He had a big of bother for a few days with bloody diarrhea so was put on a special diet. The pathology came back and it was a low grade soft tissue sarcoma that was fully removed.
Thanks for the good vibes, he is feeling them and is back eating, drinking and sleeping well.

Dabs is doing well, being a brat not drinking his water though. Brandon on the other hand was being a messer in class during his TTouch Workshop on Sunday.
