MemberWell I have to say what kind of madhouse have I found myself in at all! This place is so different to the garden I spent all my time in! My foster sisters are full of beans, they play fight all the time but they are very big so I haven’t quite got the hang of it, but my foster mam lets me hide behind her when they barrel past!
I now sleep under the bed its so dark and cozy even though I jump in with the gang for my cuddle and kiss in the morning. They do so much walking in this house I collapse in a heap as soon as we get home. I’m told I’m having a tidy up tomorrow and they keep saying something about neutering on Wednesday, dunno what that is!
I’m a great pet as I don’t shed much hair!!!! and I love nothing more than to cuddle on the sofa, I would be well suited to a home with or without another dog as long as I got lots of love! Oh and my recall is excellent. I’m an all round perfect dog so if you are interested in giving me a loving home fill out the application form!

MemberForgot how exhausting first night foster is
Me and the gang have been up since 6, they are conked now and I’m afraid to move in case they do too! Scott is the cutest little button of a dog, a big smile and plenty of licks and cuddles! Also forgot how frisky male unneutered pups can be
Dave’s leg has been violated! He will be getting neutered in the next few days and that should help! Hes a gorgeous bundle of fun, his previous family sent a letter with him that would melt your heart so we already know he is a gorgeous pet, good with children and other dogs and house trained bar one marking episode! Will update after our walk and my nap! Photos do not do this boy justice!

MemberHi Emmaline, we have Yazz (GSD) in training classes at the moment and she is doing really well but our little staffie x is a stubborn mule who is really clever but a bit cranky. Would you think she would be suitable for group training? Kathy said you work miracles! It would be great for them not to rile each other up because separately they are both really good dogs! Mel is two years old.

MemberThere were sad faces all round in the Burke house when I left Mia or as she is known to us Holly off to her new home on Sunday
Very fortunately for her the Doyles were the lovliest family and I know she will be so well looked after! Promises of updates were made and she got on great her first night so we know shes happy there! So hard giving them up Yazz depressed as a stone
, her ball chasing buddy gone its just not the same but as we all know we can’t keep them all! Best of luck Hol, your loving foster mam Julie, daddy Dave and sisters Mel and Yazz! xxxxxxxx

MemberHi guys Mia here, just back from my evening walk around the park. My mam lets me walk off the lead because I’m such a good girl and I don’t stray but from today on she says the evening walks are on the lead! Says she never knew I was such a big camogie player, skitting in and out of the Peregrines ladies team robbing the slioter and making for the goal! The team coach says he has a dog just like me and mam was relieved at that, I don’t know why!? My belly is still a bit sore after my operation but I’m having so much fun I hardly notice. I hope my forever home find me soon, my family here are getting very attached and there isn’t much more room in this zoo

MemberHi everyone Mia here! My foster mam is typing for me coz I’m sooo tired after my pampering session today! The lovely girls in pooches parlour gave me an extreme makeover and now my mam says I’m the prettiest girl in the whole world
She says she knew under all that matted hair I was a stunner! The girls said I was so good and just let them wash me and trim me like I was forever having it done, then a lady on the road told my mam me and my foster sisters Mel and Yazz were a credit to her and she is proud as punch! My foster daddy is putting up more pictures and I’m getting spayed and having a teeth cleaned on Thursday, I feel like I’m on telly! Must get some zzzz’s in, after my swim in the pond and long walk today I’m bushed! Lots of love Mia xxxx (ps can I have a new profile picture!?)

MemberMia does pull a little but that can be easily trained its pure excitement! And she sits waiting for the lead to go on which is more than I can boast about my own two! Loves getting of and sniffing out the rabbits and never strays too far, and when shes tired sits beside her foster mam in the grass and watches the other loons running around big happy head on her! Shes getting spayed on Friday and getting a cyst drained that might be slowing her down a bit on her leg
Shes a pleasure shes cuddled up to me here on the sofa, loves her sleep!

MemberWell where do we start!? Dave picked up the beautiful Mia from the pound yesterday and the poor pet was in a bad way. Her hair was matted and she has a distinct smell of kennel off of her shall we say! Straight into the bath and a good chop with the kitchen scissors and shes a much more inviting prospect for a cuddle! We really need to shave her but she nearly lost her life with the noise of the razor so Dave kept goin cutting and Peter Mark he ain’t
! Anyway shes a dote can’t believe her luck with a warm bed and grub in her tummy. Loves chasing a stick and sits on command, also loves Yazz’s armchair which tells me she was a house pet. Shes a typical poundie eats like she will never be fed again
poor baby! Will make a really lovely pet for some lucky family! Pics up when we get her looking presentable!

MemberHi Dave,
Happy New Year, just letting you know Odie is getting on fine. Loving his daily walks in Annes and he is really close to Sam and one of the cats, constant play fights between the 3 of them, they all ignore the older cat as she is not one for messing about. They have the craic here, he is asleep beside me here at the moment on the sofa. He hasn’t had the runs in a fair while now so fingers crossed on that one, although it is no problem just kick leaves over them when he has them, no bother at all in the house, loves the van, anytime I even open the door he is sitting in it before I know it even if I am only getting something out of it. Himself and Sam go everywhere with me so he is definitely not short of company. Walks around the place like he owns it now, easily holding his own with Sam and if anything is becoming as big of a messer as she is, they must batter each other every single morning for at least 2 hours, tired looking at them. He is up now and just plonked himself down on my left arm, hard to type as he likes to sleep on half of me, his head must weigh about 2 stone. If you want to know anything just ask, pic attached not sure if i sent it before. Have loads of more recent ones but where???

MemberJerry Lee, what a beautiful fella! Recovered straight away from his op yesterday, and last night slept great. Was meant to sleep on landing but kept checking I wasn’t gone so dragged his bed into the bedroom. Am gona have to work on that! He unfortunately can’t help getting filthy coz Yazz is completely enamoured and keeps jumping on him, my heart is broken trying to keep his wound clean
Dave walked him today on his own and he was great until he seen another dog and then hes very strong and barks but only in excitement we think, another thing to work on. He would be best suited to a house with another big dog as he is very sociable and loves to play, but would be too strong to be walked by kids so an older family would be more suitable. He seems to be great with kids all the same and he really is very affectionate! I wokethis morning to 3 lots of doggy kisses!

MemberWe just took Jerry Lee into foster straight from the vets today after being neutered, and my god hes a big lad! Really can’t be seen from the pics but he is very big! Very affectionate and well behaved so far! He drinks a lot of water and unfortunately coz hes sore from his operation he can’t wee properly so its shooting straight at his stomach!
Hes so in love with Yazz its gas, licking the face off each other! Mel always hard to come around, started well but now a little cranky coz she likes her sleep undisturbed! Heres just one pic will update later!IMG_0271.JPG

MemberCarly I had my first foster Odie for nearly 4months and I swear I thought we could never give him up, but hes now with Conor and his new foster sister Sam and he is so happy. I also swore we would take a break after him and now we have Yazz, a sob story Kathy sent me only one day later!
The initial few days are horrible but remember he will be in a home that loves him as much as you do! And hes a beautiful dog, who couldn’t love him!
