So Sol has been with us for 3 and bit weeks now and is settling in well.
Niamh26, he is in foster with my two dogs and has settled with them great :) This big boy loves his food and is really clever. He has mastered sitting and waiting for his food now, and sitting down as soon as the treats come out! We weighed him the week we got him into foster and he was a whopping 22kgs!! So he will be a big boy once he is done growing.
He loves kids too, but is big and clumsy so is best suited to a home with older children (My son is 12).
Sol isn’t 100% toilet trained yet, but as he is very clever I’m hoping he will be fully trained soon! He loves getting out for walks and sniffing around. He is very good on the lead when he is walked on his own, but when walked with my two, he has a bit more confidence and pulls a bit. But no more than mine!
All in all he is a great boy who is coming along well. He would need someone with husky/GSD experience and I feel wouldn’t be suitable for a first time owner. If you have any questions please ask! :)

    Hey there Bratz,

Sorry about the delay. Yes Mosha is still available (Or Mush mush as we call her :) ) Mosha was just too close to Moshi Monsters! lol.

I live in Dublin so she’s here with me. She’s getting on great. She’s in heat at the moment so updates would be kind of boring at the mo as I can’t really bring her out etc!! She’s such a great girl tho. Constantly has us in stitches with her antics! She absolutely loves people. She is definitely a family dog. Loves kids especially. She’s filling out niely too and now gets on fantastically with my dogs. If you want to ask anything about her just let me know :)

    Thanks,
    Jen.

Hey there, sorry about the delay. We’ve had this girl for just about a week now. She is doing great and is starting to chill out with us which is great. She loves loves loves cuddles. All she wants to do is be with you. She loves kids. She follows my 10 year old around so much! She really loves being with him. She even escaped out of the kitchen one night and I found her asleep outside his bedroom door! So sweet. She also has the softest fur I’ve ever ever come across!!!!!!!! "She’s so fluffy I’m gonna die" doesn’t even cover it!!

She has been a bit stand offish with my dog, but it’s only to be expected really when coming into a new hosue for the 1st time. Today was the first day that she really started to play with them! It was so cute to see :) She was popcorning all over the place!! (Getting down really low and jumping up around them wanting to play! YouTube guinea pigs popcorning and you’ll get the jist! :) )

She’s 90% housetrained and is a great grubber. She is emaciated under all that fuzz though. Hopefully she will start to fill out while with us. Despite being so skinny she has the softest mouth. She never ever snaps food out hands. She knows how to sit, give the paw and lie down!! She’s a lovely lady altogether :)

I have some pictures here but she is so much more beautiful in the flesh!

Gorgeous doggie!! Can’t get over how well he’s slotted in with you guys. That picture where they are both looking out the window is like Mylo is looking for the bully who hurt your son! "Where is he? Let me at him!’ Your little boy is so cute Aggie. Clearly a dog-lover already ;)

Oh god… My heart just dropped reading this. I have Poppy’s brother Boris in foster with me and it just shocks me how quick this happened. They are lovely, good-tempered dogs who had such a miserable start in life. Just be comforted by the fact that that since she arrived in your house that she had a great life surrounded by people and doggy pals who loved her.

I’m so sorry to hear this. Poor foster mammy, I can’t imagine what you’re going through. At least Tess was warm, comfortable and surrounded by love when she passed xxx

Well my gorgeous little puppy dog went to his new home yesterday where he’ll have a gorgeous little girlfriend called Cindy! It was a bittersweet day. So delighted that he got homed but so sad as he was my little cuddle monster! There were a few tears shed but it was a mix of sad and happy ones!! I got a text last night and this morning from Tops’ new mammy saying that he was settling in great already and had had a reasonably quiet 1st night! So happy for this little guy and his new family. Ill never forget him!!! :)

Hey everybody, so sorry this took so long! Was only meant to have the wonderful Topsy for a day or two and he’s been here considerably longer than that! :P Where do I start with this little man… Firstly his pros:
He is an absolutely wonderful little doggie. So cute and affectionate, all he wants is rubs and cuddles. He’s happy enough with his own space too though. Altho he isn’t 6months anymore (probably 8 or 9) sometimes he still has a goofy puppyness about him. He’s so small he could fit in your bag! So that probably adds to his puppyness :) He loves children. Loves them! They’re probably his favourite type of human company in fact. He does like the company of other dogs so I’d say he needs to be a second dog. He’s great walking on the lead, doesn’t pull much at all. And he is toilet trained!
His cons aren’t huge… he just needs a bit of patience, understanding and a wee bit of training. He’s quite insecure (hence the company of another dog would benefit him hugely). When I say insecure I don’t want people to miscontrue that to mean that he’s likely to bite anyone(canine or otherwise), he just doesn’t know how to interact with some people and situations sometimes. Mostly when he’s out walking on the lead if he sees another dog he’s fine, just sometimes he whines, gets vocal and/or gets excited. He is fine in the house with my two dogs (at one time another new doggie came to stay and he was great with her too!), and loves them! They all clean each others eyes and ears and sleep on top of one another! I have been putting a lot of hard work and effort into making him a more confident little man. Big thanks to Jetta for all the help with the tellington-touch practise, which has worked wonders for him!
To sum up his cons, which are very few!!, he just needs the reassurance from his family that all is good! I don’t think this little guy has been given a chance yet to show how wonderful he really is to everyone. He really is the most sweetest puppy ever! He has come on in leaps and bounds here with us and I hope he gets the forever family that he deserves. Sorry if some of my pictures come up tiny, I don’t know what happened!

Awh thanks Tara but I didn’t have to do much as Turvey is just an amazing little man! I’m so happy to say that yes it was love at first sight for Turvey and his new family and I cannot wait to drop him over to them. Don’t get me wrong… there will be tears!!!! But I’m just so happy that his new family deserve him and will spoil him rotten :)🙂 There will be some very excited little boys looking forward to his return as they didn’t want to let him go :)

Sorry about the lack of updates, I have been painting my house so have been busy busy. This little man is still getting on great here! He’s very quiet but loves to play with my dogs. Has begun to absolutely love his food and gobbles up every morsel!! He’s getting more manners now and is turning into the perfect gentleman. We took a chance and brought him out off-lead on the green and he was fab!! Loved the new smells and running after my two poochies. What more can I say? He’s such a sweetie and I hope he gets his furever home soon ;) If you have any questions please ask :)

Turvey is still doing fantastically! He’s so quiet I forget he’s here sometimes! He fit into our family like he’s always been there and I really hope he gets his forever home soon as I’ve no room to hold onto him here  If I did I’d have him in a heartbeat!
I heard him bark the other day and it was hilarious!!!! He sounded like a cockrel  I was so shocked for a minute ’cause I was looking at him and this noise just came out and I was like… where is that coming from?! Turvey’s a real sweetheart, still a puppy so lots to learn in terms of manners and going out for walks and stuff, but he’s so eager to please that he’s picking it up in no time. He’s already sitting and knows what it means when you say no! He sits and waits patiently for his breakfast, dinner and any treats I give him. He sometimes forgets to go easy when you give him treats but when I remind him he’s very gentle! All round he’s a great little man. Just wants cuddles and attention :) His favourite thing to do is lie on the couch and wiggle!!! No joke… I’ve never seen a dog do this before!!! Myself and my boyfriend were sitting on either ends of the couch, Turvey was lying on his back in the crook of my arm and wormed allllll the way over to my boyfriend on the other side of it….completely on his back!!!!! He was like a reverse army man!!! If anyone has any questions please ask me ’cause this little man really deserves his forever home :) The photos make him look huge!! He’s tiny, look at the one of his head in a cup drinking the end of a milkshake! :)
