Dogs best friend. Thank you so much for all that great advice. Although having my baby in the Royal in Belfast and their new policy is to throw you out 6hrs after you give birth  so Elvis will have to go to his grannies for a few days to give us time to get any clothes smelling of him/her!!
Trying not to get stressed by recent events and look forward to whats ahead. It’s all very exciting.

ptahaney. We live in Belfast, this is in the grounds of Stormont. I’m not really sure what its there for or if its specifically for dogs but no one was using it so thought it would be a good opportunity to practice with my new camera. It did take a lot of Bonios to get him to cooperate  . Any beagle owner will know food is a very useful tool  (i imagine beagles arent only breed)

Thanks very much for the advice. I remember seeing an episode ages ago on the dog whisperer but wasnt pregnant then so didnt really pay that much attention! (Went to see the man himself last night in Belfast, he was very funny). I’ll try looking up the new episode.

I came across DID website when trying to find a rescue puppy for my parents but unfortunately as we live in the North it was too far for a home visit. However I find myself checking it most nights as it makes me so happy to see how so many dogs have been rescued. I found myself drawn to little Emily, her mannerisms and poses remind me so much of my beagle Elvis. When I opened in loving memory and saw her name I cried all night, I’m even crying writing this. All over a little doggy I’ve never met!!! My husband thinks I’m nuts for upsetting myself still looking at the website, but I then think of all those dogs who have found loving homes, (or homes who have been rescued by loving dogs!) and it means for every little tragedy there are many more successes. All of you volunteers who give up your time and love are all true angels.
