congrats to brian! he’s been one of my favorites and i’m thrilled he’s getting a forever home!!
amythornMemberdo i smell a failed fosterer on this thread??
amythornMemberaw what a sweetie…would love to take him but ruby isn’t spayed yet…
amythornMemberhi, EJ is still in the pound, so not in the care or DID…if you’re interested in giving him a home you should head over to the pound and fill out an application on him. then the pound manager will select the best home for the little guy. he looks like a real cutie! good luck!
amythornMemberthat pic belongs in the next calendar!!
amythornMemberaw what a gorgeous baby! glad he won’t be in the pound much longer!
amythornMemberRuby had a great day today…she had a long walk in fairview park and up the coast road in clontarf. she met a good few dogs and was really looking to play, but none of them were too interested in her
then we took a drive with a friend and she snoozed pretty much the whole time, only perking up when she heard some horses clomp-clomping down the road ahead of us…she definitely recognised the sound! maybe she was around horses before she came to us? wish we could look into this little girl’s past…
now shes trying to swipe my hands off the keyboard, obviously she’s in need of some attention…better go!!
amythornMemberCongrats to the new mammy! Wow you are going to have a full house with 10 little guys running around!
amythornMemberWell June brought Shannon over this morning but Ruby and Shannon didn’t get on at all…I think Ruby was confused about another dog being in her house. June seems to be totally in love with Shannon and decided to take her back home and foster her, as she got on really well there last night. We’re so disappointed not to have her with us, but she will be well looked after with June!
Shannon is gorgeous and such a sweet girl. She’s very cuddly and affectionate and she is going to make someone very very happy! Good luck Shannon! (and Ruby says sorry for being unwelcoming…she’s been looking at me all morning with eyes that say…that wasn’t good, was it…)
amythornMemberwow what a makeover! he looks great with the new ‘do!
amythornMemberthanks! we’re actually pretty obsessed with her, she’s just so cute and funny…she helped babysit our 3 yr old nephew this weekend and was down for the count all afternoon! poor girl was worn out…
she is the boss of the house and has us wrapped around her little paw. thanks to DID for helping us find her!
amythornMemberWell our little Ruby was in St Anne’s park today and she made her first dog friend! She had a good little play session with…another DID dog! Cara, who looked like maybe a small JRT cross, was just the right size for her and they rolled around a bit and jumped all over each other. Cara’s mom said that she adopted her from DID about 8 or 9 months ago and she is such a little dote. Ruby was really pleased to meet another dog, we’ve been keeping her on a SHORT leash til she’s neutered…
I just thought it was a great coincidence that her first doggy pal was a DID dog too!
amythornMemberjingle sounds like a real sweetie and is absolutely gorgeous…sounds like you’re doing a great job with him!
amythornMemberpoor baby…i think moving from the pound is just a bit upsetting as he doesn’t know what’s coming next. i’m sure he will settle in soon and be just fine. his tummy just needs to adjust to not being so nervous!
amythornMemberi think you might be right…this girl loves to sleep in. she’s fast asleep on the couch beside me right now! A freezing cold mountain side is NOT my idea of fun, so hopefully ruby will behave until the weather improves! haha…
