This special little man is well on the road to recovery. Physically he is absolutely great, he has put on weight and is back to his crazy, playful self.
He is also becoming less anxious which is fantastic to see cos to watch him agonise over the eternal "will she be back?" question was very difficult. He is still happier when I am within view and within "sitting on my lap" distance but he will occasionally settle down on his own and I know he WILL get there. Just a few updated photos as promised.
CAM_0533.JPG Great to see him looking so well after his ‘episode’. Poor little mutt. Its nice that he is relaxing a bit more now and he will forget all his traumas and insecurities eventually. Bet he will retain a tiny bit of "where is she", "hope she is coming back" but will be relaxed and secure enough to deal with that 
Look forward to hearing about him as he grows up. If only all these dogs knew how many nutters are following them

Well…Pepper (now Thor) is offically a member of the Colgan family
He is one lucky little man and I have to say one of the most adorable, lovable and cutest puppies I have met Be happy little man and I know we will get loads of updates We were delighted to formally adopt this little guy yesterday and he got his first vax too which means it won’t be too long before he can be brought out.
He has OODLES of energy and there is only so much running in and out of the back and up and down the stairs that one little dog can do!! Looking forward to watching him grow up big and strong (well maybe not too big!!! ) and he is well on the road now. Will keep the updates coming – for Kathy at least!!!

Best Wishes.Well our precious little guy got his second vax yesterday so it was all systems go for the walk today!
It has broken my heart to leave him behind for the past couple of weeks and he couldn’t believe his luck when he got a lead on this morning too. He ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! He tore around Tymon Park like a lunatic when we braved letting him off lead and, to be fair, he stuck fast to the biggies – "fast" being the operative word!! He looked like Bambi, bounding along and he never stopped running till we got him back to the car. Thrilled that he can join us every day now. He is doing really well – apart from getting stung by a wasp he decided to snack on the other day!!! He ended up with a MEGA lip but no lasting ill effects. More pics to come soon.Well Thor had his first summer holiday last week when we took him to Clare with all the gang. Needless to say he LOVED it.
He adored the beach and would play fetch all day if he could. A great little guy – hard to remember how sick he was just a few short weeks ago.

CAM_0755.JPGWell it was 1 year ago yesterday that Pepper (now Thor) came to live with us, first as a foster and then ours to keep!
He is an absolute pcket rocket – much smaller than any of the other canine residents here but with about TEN TIMES the attitude!!!! He is the cheekiest, bouldest little strop that ever was created and he has a look that says "You REALLY want to go there???" If Thor had his way, everyone in the family – human and canine – would be under his express command. That said, when he snuggles up on your lap in one of his rare moments of sleepiness, he is still the same little cuddle monster that we met on day 1! Reading back over his thread, it is so hard to remember that he spent many days at death’s door and his convalesvence was lengthy but, by God, has he recovered!!!! Look at the cheeky face in the pic below. . . . And on the table to boot!!!!
