How sweet xxx
Have they made it out of the crate yet? How is Tessa coping? I keep checking for updates as they are just so sweet xxx
Hi,
They are absolutely gorgeous puppies and Tessa is such a sweet little thing. I would be interested in adopting one of them when they are ready to go. Just lost my beloved 12 year old dog a few weeks ago and our other little dog is pining away and would love another little friend. I really admire all the foster mums, you are all brilliant.
Let me know what the procedures are, I have already filled out an adoption form.
Well done
Ann

OMG they’re out.
The pupsters are running riot. The house is in chaos. Tubs is on his mobile calling pup line to report Tessa for squishing him. Otherwise I’m on top of things.
Tubs was the first to take the big step out of the crate (Tessa obviously blames him for her pup pups running wild). It didn’t take long for Twix and Tuc to follow….they are flying around the place now. They’re so small they can easily slip through the puppy gate, so they go over to the park for a waddle when I’m not looking (well I think they do). They wouldn’t eat their soaked kibbles until yesterday (Yay!!
) and today they’ve already moved on to Tessa’s bowl of dry kibbles.
Here’s a (bad) video of last week when they ventured out: http://youtu.be/wcmU8MpjmRw
Ann I’m sorry to hear of your dog passing…..the pups will be getting their own profiles at 8 weeks and I’m sure Claire will be in touch about your application form then. YvonneIMG_2450.JPG

Well as of today the pup pups will have their own profiles, so this all about Tessa now.
Tessa will be looking for her own forever home very soon. She has the most wonderful nature and the fact she has befriended Tio (anyone following my other fosters knows Tio never socializes with new dogs) proves what a gentle nature she has as she didn’t frighten him. She loves to play (see little video) and I think a home with a playful doggy companion would really suit her. She had to be with me every minute, so having Tio now as a playmate has allowed her to go off around the house and play without me in the room. She is very young herself and loves playing with toys and chasing Tio. She has never damaged anything in the house (no chewing, no pulling down towels, no upending the recycle bin) so she is very good. She doesn’t like to be on her own, although she sleeps great and doesn’t wake early anymore. She will bark if left alone, knowing you are in the house. She is a little crazy as she’s probably just a big pup herself, so maybe a bit too full on for very young children.(Although training would probably sort this out). My friends 5 yr old was a bit overwhelmed by her wanting to play. Tessa and Tio playing this morning: http://youtu.be/wlfdLx0ljDAIMG_2454.JPG

Yes, it is. Tessa is fantastic. What a great video. ![]()
A day in the life of Tessa…..Play with the pups toys and make sure they don’t get to play with them at all……Try and eat real fast before the pups all stick their heads in her food dish…..Exhausted power nap while puppy-sitting.IMG_2470.JPG

You are doing so well Tessa and you are still a puppy yourself. Loved the film of you tearing around the house playing ![]()
That’s so funny
. Poor little Tessa, it must be exhausting and frustrating being a pup with pups.
She’s so beautiful in that last photo, like a little canine pierrot with her eye markings.
Oh I’m so stressed….don’t know what to do…..I just can’t keep the pup pups away from all my toys. I sit in the crate and try to hold onto them all but then one of the pups bounces a ball and I forget, and run to chase it and then they run and grab the toys from the crate…….and on it goes…..day in, day out. I’m so exhausted. Foster mam doesn’t help – she always sides with the pup pups. Why would they want a teddy? They can’t de-stuff it!! Anyway, I’m reading a book on stress and the new mum and it says to take time to smell the roses……..foster mam fails AGAIN! No roses, I only found crocuses, hope they work?IMG_2574.JPG

You poor soul Tessa, you really do need to get that foster-mam of yours straightened up
I will try to find you a dog book covering the training of humans. She is clearly letting your pups run riot, that will come back to bite her when they start taking her toys (that means shoes in human language) – then you can laugh the laugh
You are nearly there now, the pups will be growing fast and heading off to their own lives quite soon, then it is all about you, keep up the good work for a little longer ![]()
How is little Tessa?
Well I have to apologize for Tessa….she was so busy last week she didn’t find time to post her news – she found a wonderful forever family. She met her new human mam, dad, sister and one of her brothers. And the even better news is……she left yesterday for her new home (not too far away). Her mam and nan will be home all day with her so she’ll love that.
I got a text last night from her mam saying Tessa is exploring her new home and is settling well. They are very happy with her.
Although it was sad seeing her leave (even though I didn’t get a second glance, she was out the door and away
) she was more than ready to start her new life and get spoiled. It’s all about Tessa now and she’ll love that!! ![]()

Well Tessa, you look pretty settled, with your own fluffy cushion and lovely chair. Where did you find the massive bone
Hope it wasn’t down the back of your chair or is that where you are going to store it. I cannot imagine you will eat that in one sitting, but then again . . .
