OMG – You have Flo ears and I am a little bit in love with your soulful face… Actually a LOT in love. Hope you find your home soon, Tessa x
We have just found out that this poor little girl is due puppies shortly…..obviously dumped as her owners didn’t want the hassle of puppies for Xmas…thanks a million to Amanda for getting her to the vet & paying for her scan…..Yvonne has kindly offered to foster her…
As she is so small & is only having 2 puppies, she may need a C Section…please if you can help & donate a few Euro to her care, we would really appreciate it…thanks & Happy Christmas…

Well Little Mama Tessa has been with me now since Tuesday and is settling in nicely. She got into the full swing of Christmas…..donned her little antlers, chewed on her Santa bone and snoozed with everyone else!
She is a very placid girl which is great as I don’t have to separate Tio (my skittish yorkie) from her. Goldie and Tessa are the same size and they plod around together quite happily. ![]()
Tessa is sleeping on her own in the kitchen and she does bark initially at night but then settles down. However she’s an early riser (7.30am
) and lets us all know Tessa wants us up and out of the duvet – NOW! She’s a good eater and is loving the chicken and gravy that’s popping into her kibbles. I’m sooooo excited waiting for puppies to arrive – have to keep reminding her she has puppies in her tummy as she leaps off the couch at the highest point
I keep waiting to see puppies flying through the air.
Tessa says ‘ watch this space peeps

Well here we are, Sunday and still no puppies
I’m having strong words with Tessa about letting these little puppies appear, but she’s totally in denial.
Everytime I ask her "when are your puppies going to appear?", she runs to the window and looks out and says "no sign of them". I haven’t the heart to tell her that they won’t be coming through the front door. ![]()
Otherwise all is well according to the vet. Her temperature dropped slightly on Friday (which is supposed to be a sign of labour), but Tessa’s not showing any other signs. Sigh…..can’t wait. Watch this space, has to be the next few days. It’s my first ‘home birth’ so nervous and excited. Say a little prayer all goes well for Tessa.IMG_2318.JPG

Stay well Tessa – Your updates are soooo cute…
You are a little winchy pants like Flo and I cant believe you have 2 puppies on board! Maybe they are nesting in your big beautiful ears?
We are thinking of you and watching this space (Almost as closely as you are watching the front door waiting for the puppies)
Paws crossed and big love,
Ms Flo, Fat Henry and Dems what look after them xxx
Well Tess had a 2nd expected due date – yesterday!! And still no signs of puppies
The final date based on a formula from the scan is this Friday – however the vet didn’t think Tessa would last until then….Tessa may have other ideas!
DF77 thanks for your good wishes – I’m beginning to think the pups may indeed have to crawl their way out of Tessa’s ears if they are ever to see the light of day! ![]()

I think she is trying to keep them safe after her own trip through the pound ![]()
Fingers and paws crossed for this little lady and the safe arrival of her pups
.
Another sleepless night (for me!) and all Tessa delivered was snores! ![]()
Today I got the crate all set up for puppies arrival and Tio and Goldie encouraged Tessa to go in have those puppies!! And the wait goes on….IMG_2332.JPG

You are going to be dragging your tum on the ground if you don’t get weaving soon
Your poor foster mother must be shattered by now, she can’t keep burning the candle at both ends for much longer. All that said, you are looking very happy and well ![]()
Oh Tessa are dem babies still staying in your tum away from the stormy weather?
I keep checking and checking – I can only imagine what your foster mammy is like!
Big licks,
Ms Flo xx
Well guess what? Yes, we are still waiting….
Tio was so fed up yesterday that he sent Tessa to potter in the tool shed and he stepped into the maternity ward…..
This morning Tessa and Goldie were out having their morning sniff. Tessa has got much bigger in the last few days……it has to be soon. If not, I’m signing her up for Operation Transformation as I’m thinking it’s just Christmas tummy she has!! ![]()
