Snowy, how are you getting along in your new house? How very exciting for you, needless to say, I can’t wait for an up-date. Yes, new foster family, I am Snowy’s number one stalker and make no apology for that , she is a cracking little dog.
September 19, 2011 at 5:53 pm #106425SabbathmcMemberHere is a picture of snowy I’ve been meaning to upload for a while now. It was taken on her way to St.Annes park last month. It is probably our favourite picture of her.

Its very good for you to have change now and again, it helps us to grow and mature and be able to deal with the different things that life throws at us all, not just very cute little mutts like you You and Twinkle are my very top favourite terriers girls so just off to ‘visit’ Twinkle now Let us know how you are doing, I know its not just me who follows you .

From her foster mum Marie:
My little friend Snowy has gone to a peaceful place. I hope she is with many of my faithful friends who I have lost in the last fifty years.
Snowy had a few set backs toward the weekend and the Vet said that her age in combination with her heart problems she would not
tolerate further operation. We miss her friendly nature and her love of walks and the garden .I apreciate all that Dogs in Distress have done for her. Marie

She had a lot on in 2011, with her owner going to hospital, her own tumours, her very long stay with dedicated fosterer Sabbathmc and finally to her forever home for the briefest of time. Snowy was chosen and left this world wanted and loved, I’m happy it ended on a high for her.
October 24, 2011 at 7:55 pm #106841IndiannaMemberVery real tears for you Snowy snowdrop. At least you were loved and cared for. I could just imagine your funny little bunny hop when out and about. You were a grand little dog and I am just happy you found DID and that you had a great time with your longest-standing foster mother and then found yourself in a home with people who loved you. I was a great fan as you know and I can’t tell you how far my heart dropped when I saw the posting
October 24, 2011 at 8:13 pm #106843SabbathmcMemberIt broke myself and my partners heart in two when we heard about snowy. Her amazing new foster mam only had her for a few weeks before she passed.
Snowy you brightened up our lives and brought so much happiness with you everywhere you went.
Thanks to D.I.D her life was extended by almost a year!- and those few months were filled with so much joy, she was so so happy. She had a few new little pals to play with over the past few weeks and was taken care of by her new foster mum and her other lil doggies. We will never ever forgot snowy and those fortunate enough to have met her certainly will not too.
She was such a special snowdrop and a beautiful one at that
October 24, 2011 at 9:14 pm #106850LuvMyFurKidsMemberA great little lady who finally has no more health problems since coming into D.i.D’s care and her amazing foster families Snowy wanted for nothing and had the best of everything which only goes to show how our dogs live beyond their medical expectations with the love and care they deserve.
October 25, 2011 at 8:21 am #106852ColganFamilyMemberI have followed this little lady from the start and I am SO SORRY to hear she has passed away. However she had a truly wonderful last few months in the care of amazing fosterers – that love and care is immeasurable! In the midst of all the heartache and sadness, try to focus on that. Thank you all so much for all you did for this special little lady.
October 25, 2011 at 3:23 pm #106835laineyMemberSuch sad news. My thoughts are with all of Snowy’s wonderful fosterers today. Run free little girl.

November 1, 2011 at 10:26 pm #106870martinacareyMemberSuch sad news about Snowy but at least she is in the best place now! And I love that she spent her last year being loved and fussed over! I’m glad I had the priviledge to meet you the day you came over to get groomed, you were such a sweetheart!
November 21, 2011 at 11:42 pm #107388roxyxMemberI’m very sorry about Snowy! I looked at her updates page sometimes and I hoped she would get a home soon! I was thinking that if I was going to adopt another dog from here I would get her, she seemed like a very happy dog. I’m sure she was loved in her final days. xxx
