This little baby is so friendly…..he has an old scar on his leg so needs out of the pound asap…please if you can help contact Kathy on 086 3696413…thanks..
This special little man had a hard start in life…he had hip dysplasia and an old injury (he was hit by a car) which was never treated…he has been in terrible pain. We got him to our vets and had him neutered & Xrayed yesterday..he will need long term help & medication. Today a lovely couple (Padraig & Jemma) travelled all the way from Roscommon to meet him…they instantly fell in love and he has gone off to his happy ending with his doggy sister. A big thanks also to Marie Hannon who arranged all this and met his lovely family….its great to post good news for a change.
Here are some pictures of Cody in his new for ever home. H e settled in really well his tail is always wagging he is such a happy little fellow Its been two days and I cant imagine life with out him. He is great with our two cats and loves the odd chase with one of them, all in fun. Cody loves our dog Jessie and was straight over to make friends, but Jessie wasn’t as keen with a few tears but after one hour she was in love too, so the story is Cody won all our hearts…

thank you for your lovely comment. yes he is so happy his full of beans even with a sore leg. he loves his walks he hops on three legs poor thing, but he is as fast as any other dog he doesn’t let it stop him he so amazing. he loves everyone even the post man. cody loves playing with the ball and enjoys it more with his new pal jessie theres always a fun chase to see who can get it first. :
IMG_3431.JPGI wept when I first read this thread – that picture of him in the pound! Such a frightened soul and then his escape from the hell of pain and abandonment – it was overwhelming. Well done to everyone involved and what a handsome dog he is half collie,half fox -all gorgeous. I hope his lovely family will keep the updates coming – I love this particular happy ending.
This is a great Happy Ending and what a good looking boy he is.
Delighted to hear he has been totally accepted by all four legged residents. He looks very content and happy.
So delighted for him as he owner would not pay the fine and collect him and he already had an accident with his back leg. All this in his short life so far but at least now you have a family that love and appreciate you and will never be neglected again
