Rosie is getting on so well in the O’Neill- McPartlin household. Everytime I see her my heart just Beams.
She has managed to charm her way into even the teenage boys hearts and there beds too.
We ran into a few hiccups about Sept/ Oct when Rosie and 11 Year old Doodles the Poodles started to fight. Rosie had jus tbeen spayed and became a little Jealous and snappy. Doodles was having none of it
As we have never had a 2nd dog before, we had not experienced this and were quite distressed.
Got some great advise from the team here and also booked an appointment with a recommended dog behaviour therapist.
It worked a treat. With a few little changes in there routines and rewards for being in each others company, its hard to believe we ever had any concerns:
As I type here, both are curled up on my lap. They walk together, eat together,Bark together. Not quite sleep together. Rosie would definitly love to curl up on doodles curly belly.I watch her trying to back in towards him for a discreet cuddle. He’s not so keen though. Being a bit grumpy in his old age. But getting a lot more tolerant.
She’s such a bright little dog. A friend of mine say’s shes a little guru. Definitly here to teach us how to LOVE and LAUGH.
Looking forward to Rosies 1st Christmas here. It will be Barking mad My daughter is coming up tomorrow with her Bichon Rufus (2) and Daschound(6mths) x for Christmas. Rosie gets on great with her 2 cousins as they are closer to her young age. They love to tear around the place together
What great pictures!! So happy to hear Rosie and Doodles working things out and thanks for all your effort and dedication in making it happen!! Happy Xmas!
