Look at my two babies all grown up and now 4 years old.
They are brother and sister and from a litter of six.
They were born with me 15 min’s after their mother was brought to me by a friend after saving her from being drowned in the canal.
She thought she had the pups already and that they were trying to get rid of her………but not so.
She went on to have six healthy babies.
These two traveled to Sweden when they were 12 weeks old.
Kealan was heartbroken as he fell for Breena who he called Princess.
She has since been known as Princess Breena.
Their names were chosen carefully because they were Irish, and they suit them.
Thanks to Jennifer and Heinrick for giving them a wonderful home and a fantastic life and for always sending me cards and updates.
This confirms that DID are truly International.

It’s been a while since I wrote an update. I’m not exactly inundating you with reports like I promised. But once they’re grown up we settle into a routine and there isn’t as much to tell.

Today it was supposed to be 80 degrees and sunny, so we planned to spend the day and night in the boat. Premiere trip this summer, on July 25! It’s been THAT cold. And when it’s been warm it’s been windy.
We packed everything last night and were actually in the harbor at ten. Drove out to "our" island, during which time the blue skies and glorious sun turned to clouds and wind. We anchored (a tricky process at best) and found a wind-sheltered part of the island, where we sat and had lunch. And the dogs played. Even Breena has started going out in the water!

Thanks Jennifer that looks fantastic, very artistic. ![]()
I am sure the twins are enjoying life as usual and no doubt getting for Santa.
Kealan is amazed looking at their photos, he says he can still remember Princess sitting on his lap and cuddling in for a snooze.
They got the life they deserved even if they had to travel across the world.
Thanks to both of you for looking after them so well and giving them the chance to have a fun filled and loved life. ![]()

Happy Birthday to you, your cake looks yummy
From their fantastic family
Mom and Dad have lost their minds. They brought an intruder into the house and started calling him our brother And he’s actually kind of fun to play with. He keeps trying to get me to chase him. One of these days I’m going to do it. It does seem like fun.

He’s been here a week and a half.
Boo-Boo has some funny ideas. He thinks every human he meets is going to hit him. Mom and Dad say it’s because that happened to him in his old life, isn’t that sad? Who could hit a nice dog like Boo-Boo? Who could hit any dog? We’ve never heard of anything like that before. We love every single human we’ve ever met. But at least Boo-Boo trusts Mom and Dad. Especially Dad — he’s a total Daddy’s boy already. er! His name is Boo-Boo and he’s four years old. I spent five days following him around the house, telling him not to get any ideas about staying:
But actually by the third day he was starting to grow on me…
Which is okay, I guess, coz Ronan and I know Mom’s the best. So it’s nice that Dad has someone who loves him best.
We had several scary thunderstorms this summer. Ronan only felt safe when he was squeezed in between Mom and the wall. Or the cupboards. Or the oven. As long as Mom was there keeping us safe.
We spent two weeks in Denmark in July. Mom and Dad found a really cool dog forest, where someone put a fence around a big section of woods so we could run around off-lead and not get lost in the woods! It was great! Except that the fence kept all the deer out, so there wasn’t anything to chase. Except Ronan, I chased him. And one time I tried to chase a big ol’ scary cow, but I didn’t see the fence between us. It scraped off a patch of hair on my face and Mom and Dad called me Scarface for a while. ![]()

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your amusing and heartwarming update and watching the youtube video. What a lovely addition Boo-Boo is to your family and well done you for offering a home to another maltreated dog. I hope you’ve had as gorgeous a summer in Sweden as we’ve had here in Ireland. Ha det sa bra!.

Seven years ago today we picked up our little babies at the airport.
We celebrated Gotcha Day in the usual way, playing ball (this time with a new brother):
