I have had little Banjo now for nearly a month. He is a very cute friendly dog who follows me everywhere in the house. He likes short brisk walks in the morning and evening. Because he is still a young dog/pup he gets very excited at everything new around him. However, he is friendly and calm around other dogs. I had a Westhighland female terrier staying with me for three days last week. I have attached photos of them below together I brought Banjo recently to be neutered. (That’s why he has a plastic cover surrounding his head in one of the photos) Both Banjo and Dixie enjoyed playing with each other. Banjo being the gentleman even allowed her to play with his toys!

He gives all my guests the best of welcomes! His tail waggles 100 miles an hour when people and other doggies are around him.
I think he is a smashing dog. Banjo would quickly fit into any loving home.

My application is gone in so I hope I hear soon and get to meet some of these little guys. We have a loving home ready for some little dog.

I now have had him two months. When out walking in the park, he is now allowed off the lead to run and play with other dogs. He is still learning recall so I need some treats to get him to come back to me. For a small to medium size dog he has so much energy. He will sprint endlessly with any dog regardless of size. I bring him out every morning before work and then again at lunch time. Once he gets a decent run in the afternoon he is content to be around the house for the rest of the night. He loves settling on my lap every night to have a nap before going to his bed.
He is an excellent eater and enjoys unusual treats such as oranges and carrots
This little man gets a lots of attention from other dog owners, hence I am enjoying the walks almost as much as he does .April 7, 2014 at 12:37 pm #120127kaydoyleMemberMeet Banjo from Dogs in Distress who graduated our 5-week basic obedience course today under our foster dog scholarship programme. Banjo is a superstar We loved having him and his wonderful fosterdad Dave in class. Banjo excelled in training, has a wonderful temperament with humans and dogs, and is about to start Agility tomorrow at Wonder Paws! If you are looking for a happy, motivated and loyal dog for your family then Banjo is for you
