Such a lovely dog, saw him today and he was terrified. Really hope he gets a forever home soon.
Yeah hes a beauty. Was over in the pound on Tuesday and had him out of the cage and giving a rub.Hes very gentle when taking food and then just ran back into the cage. Its sad. We’re going to look into taking him home for a bit.
Does anyone know any background on him?Was he abused or where was he found?
Poppy is a stray so unfortunately we have no background on her. We can say however that she is gentle, sociable, good on the lead – loves her walks, pats and chats. A little gem.
Hey all.We took Poppy in today into fostercare.Couldnt ask for a better dog.So gentle and easy on the lead.Just loves a nice cuddle and to lye by our feet.Shes a beauty. ![]()
Thanks so much, had the pleasure of been around when this lovely gal went off to her lovely new foster home. x

she is a little beauty
,i have 2 females,a white staffie(matilda) and my ball of fluff,a pom(holly)..how is poppy with other dogs, animals ect and children? i am interested in giving poppy a forever home ![]()
Thats great news.We can honestly say she is the most well behaved dog we have had.Leanne had her 8 year old brothers up alot and she has licked them so much so we felt very comfortable having children around her.
She walks easily on the lead and is very obedient. She will stay if you tell her,sit for treats and sit by your side if you ever stop to talk to talk to someone when out walking. Its so unfortunate that a change in work circumstances has prevented us from adopting her otherwise we would in a heartbeat.
As for other dogs we have walked past alot of big and small dogs and she doesnt really show an interest in them. When shes out walking she just loves it and smells alot so I cant see you having any problems integrating her into your pack.
We have some more photos taken of her that we will pass on to Suzi to post up here.If you meet her you’ll fall in love with her.
thankyou for getting back to me,i really hope everyting works out now, would love to have her in the family or zoo as some people tell me
..we also have 2 terapins and a 3 legged hamster..abit of a mad house but we wouldn’t have it any other way
