MemberAND FINALLY…AN OSCAR FOR D.I.D!!!!
This wonderful dog is with me , but only for a short time I’m afraid. He is an absolute dote with no vices that I have discovered yet. He is very affectionate and playful. Wonderful with my 3 yr old granddaughter, very tolerant of two snooty Tibetan Spaniels and Polly who doesn,t give him an inch. Liz gave him her usual pampering yesterday and he came home like a child at Christmas with new toys (he had none of his own) a new bed (which he adores). Slept in it in front of the fire and we took it into the bedroom at bed time when he just hopped into it and slept like a baby all night. Puts his head up for a comforting rub now and again and flops back down, happy again.
He would play all day. He loves a tug rope, a ball, in fact anything round that he can "Fetch" He has boundless energy, but when you put the toys away he finally gets the message and settles down.
He just loves anything you do for him…brushing, tickling his tummy, great dog for hide & seek, in fact any game you want to play. He sits, gives the paw and looks up at you with those big brown eyes which will melt any heart.
He will make a fine family pet for a family who like plenty of exercise and fun.
There will be photos v.soon.November 12, 2009 at 7:26 pm #89799bosun

He doesnt like the camera so not great shots, He really is a fab boy, getting on grand here with my mam, loves to play ball and kept my 3 yr old busy for ages, he doesnt jump up either, better manners than mine !!!!

MemberWell, what can I say. This young man just gets better by the day
As you can see in the photos Nicola is here with her dogs so we are six. Ten if you count the humans. Not a bother with the six canine members of the family. They rub along very
well together. We could learn a thing or two I can tell you.
All Oscar wants from you is a session of fetch and he is quite happy to settle down beside you and go to sleep.
A great little companion.February 14, 2010 at 10:43 pm #94045bosun
Memberwell I have Oscar back with me again, again, no fault of his. This time I have had him longer and got to know him lots better, and, guess what, he just gets better and better.
He has no ‘side’ to him, and just gets on with everyone.
His ‘high energy’ is easily satisfied with about 45 mins in park of ball games. After that he is quite happy to lie down beside you and sleep. He is a wonderful companion. He is one of those dogs who is in tune with and interested in everything that is going on in the family. I returned home to.night and he ran out to meet me, and jumped into the car. There was no thought of running off, just wanted to be with us.
He is great off lead in a field or park and will never leave you. Good recall, and very obedient.
He has never been destructive in the house and is completely toilet trained.I just realised I have described the perfect dog and I wonder why I’m not keeping him myself, but you can’t keep them all.
Strong on the lead still, but that will come with a bit of training.

Memberwell, I just had the best news this morning…Oscars new parents phoned me up to say they are absolutely delighted with him, fabulous dog, full of personality etc. Sure WE knew that all along!!!!!
Their grandchildren are crazy about him and he has lots of playtime with them. Hubby is into really long walks and lots of off lead hill walking also. D.G.
At last he is with a family who appreciates him and suits his lifestyle.
