Great photos as usual and boy what glowing healthy coats you have.
I think they are delighted to have Kealy there just to add doubt……….so you can never be really sure who is responsible.
Great Scottish frown laddies. Will they be getting Kilts from Santa
December 3, 2010 at 10:17 pm #103167MutleyMemberWell, all this snow is certainly snow joke you know! Being vertically challenged, we have to be thawed out every time we venture outside – three cheers for hair dryers!
We are training Keeley well (our little big collie sis) – she has just been caught making good progress on a 1kg bag of mixed bird seed…she must have heard the R. Kelly song "I Believe I Can Fly". Also in the Scottie news this week, Bonnie has been helping Keeley to advance her carpentry skills on the bannisters…apparently they are trying to make toothpicks!
Mac and Bonnie xxx (and Keeley, who is now making ‘tweeting’ noises for some odd reason ).

December 20, 2010 at 12:36 am #103540MutleyMemberHi! We would like to congratulate our former fosterers, Arlene and John, on the recent birth of their daughter Zoe! Great news! Mac is very good with babies and has a particular admiration for their wonderful toy collections!
Bonnie and Keeley have been perfecting their "remodelling" of the bannisters, so the beavered part has now been capped with aluminium tubing (yes, very trendy!)…so far so good!
Mac is doing his utmost to disguise himself in his Daddy’s gym bag (see pic)…he reckons he needs a sauna to de-stress. Meanwhile, Bonnie removed the green shampoo bottle and tried to eat it – well it does have fruit extracts and she does like apples!!
Bonnie and Keeley have taken to playful wrestling – they may yet turn pro! The landing is their favourite place and Mac acts as ringside referee. Mac reckons Bonnie should be in the heavyweight category but she is less than amused! (Madame has been on a diet and has lost half a kilo in the last month; she says she is wasting away!).
Wishing everyone a very happy Christmas…and remember, Santa ONLY visits the naughty doggies…we hope!

PS Hamish, please keep up the rug making…we reckon you are on to a real winner there!

December 20, 2010 at 11:04 pm #103575dogsruleMemberI’d buy that book! You’re dogs are beautiful and sound like they are getting on with being proper bow wows!
January 28, 2011 at 2:47 pm #104189MutleyMemberHi! We’ve had a busy winter and have just about re-trained the family the way we want them! They are quite stubborn we have found.
As the family is now a bit extended (Mac wonders are we talking about Bonnie’s weight again?!), our parents had to buy us a holiday house – they say we are worth it! Our new retreat is in Donegal and we had our first visit there this week. We reckon the sun room will be our bedroom, as it has low windows, a big patio door and a glass panelled door through to the kitchen, so we can see what is going on! We will post some pics of us settling in later on in the spring.
Collectively, we are now known as “Scooties” for short (and we answer to it too!) and as Keeley thinks she is one of our kind, she is known as the “Wannabe Scootie”. She copies us at everything and often acts as a most useful scapegoat. Other nicknames we have acquired…Minnie Mouse (Bonnie – pokey mouse nose and
exceedingly nosey!); Macho and Mac-Attack (Mac – likes to playfully bite); and Keeley Weeley (has a fond affection for watering the hall carpet! ).Continued…

During the snow, we had a bit of a job to get down the garden, so our pack thoughtfully put a plank to connect the path and buried lawn. Bonnie now thinks this is a permanent feature and insists on walking the plank every time! Sometimes she just sits there in contemplation (see pic).
The improvements to our beds still continue (see pic – that was Keeleys!)! It’s a tough job but someone has to do it! We have a new bed arriving next week, which we can’t wait to get our teeth into…literally! A big thanks to Marie/Twist (patron of the Bed Wreckers Foundation) for the very kind donation of a large bed, which we look forward to using (or abusing?!) in our holiday abode.
Bonnie and Keeley are still enjoying their wrestling matches and provide great entertainment for the spectators – except Mac who thinks it’s all a bit silly.
Coming soon…”Tales of a devastated garden – the before and after photos”!!!

January 28, 2011 at 9:19 pm #104202dogsruleMemberOh My God, soooooo cute, and your people tell the funniest stories about you guys!!
January 28, 2011 at 11:15 pm #104204laineyMemberI’m really looking forward to the next episode of The Bed Wreckers. Who needs Eastenders?????
May 27, 2011 at 10:15 pm #105243MutleyMemberWell, did you miss us? Sorry it’s been so long since our last news but we’ve been very busy. We decided that the bed wrecking had become so last season, so haven’t eaten any more…well, for now anyway! Sorry to disappoint our loyal fans! We’ve heard murmurs that we’ve “calmed down”….hah, just wait…!
We’ve been having a great time settling into our new holiday house in Donegal. Our parents had a hard job to find a house with the number “two” but we told them as we are twins, this is most important! We even got our own sign made to match (see pic). The garden in our country retreat is much bigger, so we have great fun chasing footballs up and down the slope. We were wondering if we could get a couple of sheep…purely for Keeley…errr, to help her sleep. Bonnie has been a great help to her Daddy making up flat-pack furniture…mostly running away with the wooden dowels, or eating the sandpaper…LOVES sandpaper! She says she is underfed, starved and the weighing scales lie! Bonnie also discovered the packaging made a handy make-shift bed (see pic)!
Mac has discovered that the kitchen table has chairs and apparently it’s rude not to sit at the table. He has become quite agile indeed, ensuring a race at meal times to get a seat!
Bonnie is delighted that the warmer weather has finally arrived, as this means the bees and butterflies have the (mis)fortune of landing in the back garden…necessitating a number of rescues so far! It was decided not to post photos of the garden, as the Scotties felt they would be blamed entirely for the winter elements – the “landscaping” continues in earnest…
