She really enjoys her walks, her tail does be wagging walking down the road, she likes to run as well, I let her off the lead down at the canal and she loves it, she even jumped into the canal after some ducks the poor ducks got such a fright , but at least I know little Amber can swim if she needs to. Will post more photos next week when I stop her and Woody from running around the garden so fast……ha ha
July 9, 2010 at 5:27 pm #98949taraMemberbet she doesnt know her luck with you. we used to bring her to a lake every day but she was never confident enough to jump in,no matter how much the ducks quacked so it shows how happy she is with you eva.

They both look so happy and contented in each others company, it’s great to see. Happy at last and forget all the past.July 18, 2010 at 7:27 pm #99189scoo_muMemberawww, look at her, she looks so happy. I’d say she can’t believe her luck. It really is such a far cry from her previous existence of being tied up to a bath!! No shelter, I really hope she wasn’t left out in that weather when it was -10 during the winter. She is a really lovely sweet natured dog. I am so glad everyone pulled together for this sweet girl… Thanks DiD and thank you Eva for adopting her..
Just added a photo of Tally, (EX DID rescue) who i think is so like Amber, That is Tally on the left with her rescue sister who live very happily in Co.Clare…

she does look like tally, same soulfull eyes:)
and eva amber looks amazing as ever. the last pic is an ideal candidate for the d.i.d 2011 calenderJuly 27, 2010 at 10:08 pm #99461EvaMemberHey, Sorry I haven’t had a chance to reply in ages, I was on holiday, Amber and Woody were been looked after by my sister and then Mike from Pet Sitters Ireland walked my two babies for me twice a day…….little Amber was a bit reluctant to go out with him on the first day but seemly she got over her nerves really quickly, mainly due to the treats I’d say Mike had in his pocket…….
There’s no stopping this little girl now, gets on great with everybody, isn’t as shy, she gets a little agitated in the park if she isn’t allowed talk to other dogs sometimes especially when she’s back on the lead and has to go home, but we can work on that, but we know she only wants to play with the other doggies.
Tally above looks so like her, you would think they were from the same litter Its good now that they have all found new and loving homes, I really do hope as well that Amber wasn’t left out in that snow in January but that’s all behind her now in her past and she never has to go back to those kind of conditions, all thanks to you who rescued her, Dogs in Distress and Tara for taking good care of her before she came to me.
I have some more photos of her, I just have to get the time to download them onto the pc, there’s a few nice photos of her on the decking, will promise I will put them up in the next few days…September 11, 2010 at 8:29 pm #101086EvaMemberWell, haven’t been here in over a month, Amber is doing great, my niece Mia loves her to bits, I come home from work each day only to see Amber decked out in material hairbands as collars and hair bobbins as bracelets on her feet I think Mia thinks she is her little sister she can dress up, ha ha. I’m off to Italy for a wedding and little Amber and my other older wolf Woody will be getting walked by the lovely Mike in Pet Sitters Ireland again, Mike said to me last week, "I couldn’t understand why she was called Amber and then I looked at her eyes and saw straight away why she is called Amber". I have to take more photos of this little girl, its just so hard to get some of her in action in the Phoenix park because she is such a fast girl.

She always was a sucker for the treatsOctober 21, 2010 at 3:49 pm #102006EvaMemberAh, Thanks Tara, you wouldn’t believe what little Amber is like now, totally different dog, not shy with anybody at home now, is still shy with strangers and barks the house down when somebody knocks on the door but shes a cool little lady. I’ve two more photos of her below running around the Phoenix Park, she is so fast

She looks the picture of happiness and confidence
She was always the best house protector,I reckon it’s because she does’nt want anyone messing with the cushy house she has now -
