Milly is a 7 month old beagle pup. She is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. She is house trained and lead trained, she is excellent with children and other dogs. She is good on the lead and well mannered although can be VERY stubborn and can have "selective" hearing when she wants. She has good recall but would benefit greatly from some obedience training. She is a high energy dog, she is good at night and a great sleeper. Beagles are not first time dogs and someone with some experience with dogs would be needed as she can be naughty if allowed. She has a great nature and is nice small/medium sized dog. She is a very gentle and loving dog that loves to give kisses!
Milly has been with me for just over a week, and has made herself completely at home. She and Saffron, my 6 year old German Shepherd, are now firm friends, play together with tug-toys and chase each other around the fields. The back of the couch is her favourite place to snooze and keep an eye on things. She met the goats yesterday for the first time, and was very interested in these strange creatures! She has decided this is where she wants to be forever, so who am I to argue with that?
