February 1, 2011 at 1:10 pm #104259ColganFamilyMemberJust collected this man about an hour ago and he has just slotted right in!! He is a very calm little man full of kisses for me and full of play for the canines – even Miss Narky Knickers, isn’t fazing him IN TH SLIGHTEST!! He is busy exploring all round him and already I can see he will make a brilliant pet for some lucky family. He is actually 4 months old and has been with his mam and sibling up to now. It is clear to see that he has had a good start to his life and his mum’s owner told me that she was a very loving mother – Kibbles has all the signs of it too!!! Dying to get some photos and will post them up asap.
February 3, 2011 at 8:51 am #104303ColganFamilyMemberWell, this little man is an absolute delight! Two days in and you would swear he had lived here all his life. He settled in immediately and is now part of the pack. He LOVES to play, play, play and Mollie and Casper in particular are getting a great workout of wrestling and chasing on a regular basis. He is a tough little nut who gets involved no matter how manic the game is! And when it’s over, he curls up beside (or on top of!!) any available human for a rest and a cuddle. He is extremely affectionate, a great grubber and has just about mastered the toilet training SO quickly. He is a joy to foster and he will be a wonderful addition to the REALLY lucky family who get to home him. The lads described him last night as "a cartoon dog" and that is exactly what he looks like with his long body, long tail, long snout (with an overbite) and short, stubby legs!!! Can’t describe just how cute he is. Have a look for yourselves.

CAM_0316.JPGFebruary 7, 2011 at 9:48 am #102054ColganFamilyMemberI cannot say enough good things about this little fella He has slotted right in here as if he has been here all his life. He is incredibly "copped on" (if you can use such a phrase to describe a little doggie) with all the lovable, endearing, sweet puppy traits and NOT ONE of the divilish ones!!! He is not a chewer (except of his toys), not a barker, he doesn’t nip, he doesn’t demand anything – he is one of the best-behaved dogs I have ever come across. And he is only 4 months old! The other dogs all love him cos he doesn’t annoy them in any way and all the human Colgans are MAD about him. He discovered the human beds yesterday and it took us all our time to coax him back downstairs – this place was WAY too comfy to leave!! If you are looking for the best dog imaginable, then Kibbles is the man for you.

CAM_0336.JPGFebruary 13, 2011 at 3:38 pm #94882ColganFamilyMemberKibbles continues to delight all of us here. He has the sweetest, calmest, most undemanding temperament imaginable! He is fully house trained – mastered in 24 hours, I kid you not. He eats like a good’un. He loves to be cuddled and gives the most amazing kisses in response. He plays manically when there is a good oul’ game going here with the biggies but is SO gentle and tolerant when playing with the new arrivals, Kai and Kayla He completely understands and responds to the word NO although we have had to use it only very sparingly with this wonderful little man I cannot imagine a home where he would not fit in. He is amazing in the car. I could go on forever but I am sure you get the picture. If you want a dog that has everything going for him, then come and meet this fab little guy!!
CAM_0335.JPGFebruary 18, 2011 at 10:06 am #103110ColganFamilyMemberKibbles continues to be a fantastic little man. He is becoming more assertive and confident and has found his bark!!! He warns when anyone comes up the road, when the election leaflets drop in the porch or if he hears anything strange at all, he lets us know. A great watchdog for such a sweetheart. He is totally housetrained, snuggles up with Mollie every night, adores being stroked and cuddled, eats all round him, loves playing with the babies, Kai and Kayla. He is a wonderful little guy.

CAM_0366.JPGFebruary 23, 2011 at 1:22 pm #97184ColganFamilyMemberI am actually lost for words – most unlike me!!!! – when it comes to describing this fantastic little guy. Everything I have said already still holds true – I can’t say enough good things about him.He had a trip out to my sister’s during the week to see how he was with her children and he was a thorough little gent with everyone from teenagers down to the baby who is 3 He then visited my mam’s where he had a great play with her young little dog. He is a dream in the car. He just snuggles down in the seat while you drive. He has become a little lap dog in the last few days and he is curled up in my lap right now as I type – not the easiest thing as he is quite big (relatively speaking) and weighs 10 kilos!!! I wouldn’t have it any other way though. A DREAM OF A DOG!!!!

CAM_0382.JPGFebruary 28, 2011 at 12:57 pm #82339ColganFamilyMemberI am trying to get a photo of Kibbles that shows off his incredible eyes – they are just beautiful He is a bit camera shy, though, unlike the other pair who almost pose when they see me coming I will keep trying. In the meantime here is – not a very good one – to keep you going!!!
