Fab photos
March 30, 2013 at 7:38 pm #114740dogsruleMemberI met Harry, who came along with his forever dad today to help raise awareness of Dogs in Distress. Harry looked great, he had a shampoo yesterday and he has the most silky coat. He has dazzling white teeth. He is so friendly and makes the perfect DID ambassador.
March 30, 2013 at 11:53 pm #114746DID RescueKeymasterI agree Master Harry looks fantastic and more importantly knows it.
His Dad looks after him so well and they have a great bond which is something you earn and it fab to see especially when it involves a dog that was dumped and unwanted.
That is why DID do what they do…………..because they dogs don’t need to be disposed of……they did not choose to die.
Sorry Harry don’t mean to sabotage your thread but I know you like to help your palsJuly 1, 2013 at 10:51 am #116230PatCMemberWhat a few months it has been since my last update, I have been so busy helping my daddy bring supplies to foster homes and performing homevisits for DID, You can’t be to careful and daddy does need a second opinion, he can’t be trusted to do things on his own.
Things were going along fantastic then one lovely warm evening we went for a drive to the northside (this usually means a beach trip). We stoppped in a car park and daddy told me out for a walk. All sounds good so far eh, then this girl dog came up to me with her mammy. Yeah ok thats fine will can sniff for a bit whilst the auld folks chat.
Ok, all’s good, I jump into the car, next thing this girl is put in the car beside me… YES, IN MY CAR!!!!!!! It turns out she is going to be staying with us, I KNOW, A BIG SMELLY GIRL!!!
We get home and the first thing yer one does is gobble down MY DINNER!! Well I will have to put a stop to this, so I promptly proceed to pick up all of my toys and put them in the toy box and guard it with my life. But it turns out that she is not really into toys because daddy has to teach her how to play. Imagine not being able to catch a ball…. Girls eh!!
So anyway I have kinda gotten used to having the young one around, she is a bit posh and scared of things but we are bringing her back down to earth. Very slowly.
But it is nice to have someone to play with while daddy is as work, and it’s cool to have someone to boss around too. That’s all for now here are a couple of recent photos. Love to all in DID….WOOF!!

The Royal Mutt will be chewing everything up before you know where you are. I suspect that you will let her think she is in charge but we both know the truth
July 1, 2013 at 8:12 pm #116246Angela1MemberI’m looking forward to the next instalment!!

Just a quite note to let you know whats been happening. It’s been a busy few months. I’ve been helping Pat do some home visits and even "miss frosty face" Siog has come along. She is actually not that bad once you get to know her, She is like an annoying little sister at times, but I remember what I was like at that age and just let it go.
Daddies went on holidays, so that meant that we had to go stay with the grandparents, they are a bit old, so I try not to wear them out to much. But that great thing about staying with them is that they have a huge garden, so me and "frosty face" have plenty of room to run and play. Although grandad was giving out about how much the extra weight in the bin will cost with all our poo!!…Haha He is funny.
When daddies came back, they took us on our holidays down to Galway, It was savage craic, we got the hang out in the bars, have a few pints and then go back to our room, it was great coz we has doors on our room which lead out to a massive enclosed garden with birds and squirrels to chase. But we are all back to the grind now.
Love to my DID family.

It is our pleasure to help out in our little way Kathy. I want to wish all at DID a very happy christmas and new year. Even if you did organise for Miss frosty face to come live with me. I try to keep her out of trouble, coz she is not as streetwise as me. But I do love her and my daddies (Even if they did put a stupid red scarf on me, hence why me ears are down in the photo, I’m not into all that dressing up lark).
Love to Kathy, Claire and Marie.
