Eliot (formerly Dewey) has been with me now for four months and I thought I should send a few new photos of the little man. He is doing great and is happy with his new life in Ennis and his best mate (most of the time!) Yasser Aracat. Loves his walks in the woods and meeting his doggie pals. Not so happy walking near traffic and pedestrians but hopefully we will get that sorted eventually.
He has changed so much, from the timid, quiet little guy that I took home on the 18th of April. He is now bolshie, demanding, funny, naughty, cute as a button, heedless, lovable, loud – and thats just in the first half hour of the day!
Thanks again all at DID for letting me adopt him. Trying to talk myself out of adopting another as a companion for him but may eventually fail.
All the best.
Ber, Eliot and Yasser.

Ah Ber, he is absolutely gorgeous. I’m so delighted that everything has worked out so well for him. He is such a dote. Lovely photos.
Wow what a stunning guy and he has come on so much since his first photo. Well done on your great work.
Great job done on this little fella. He looks so happy and content now, hard to believe it’s the same dog as in the first picture
Hi everyone. Eliot here.
Just wanted to say hello and to let you know how I’m getting on living in my new home in Ennis. Lovin’ it here in the Banner county, although I’m not much of a GAA man myself. More into the footie as you can see from the photos I’ve sent of me in my new Barcelona strip. I only wear it on match days as I think its naff to wear it any other time. Had a bit of a fright though last Wednesday, Champions League night, when I wore the colours while out for my evening walk in the woods and a demented Real Madrid supporting pug hooligan called Coco went for me – unprovoked – and tried to kick the lard out of me. Well – shocked or what? I wasn’t hurt and didn’t retaliate and the pug’s Mammy was mortified but my Mam said it was ok, no harm done.
Other than that life is good and I’m a happy boy. I’m sending on a photo also of me and my best bud Yasser Aracat having a nosey out the window checking out the neighbours.
All the best from me, Ber and Yasser.
Eliot (used to be called Dewey)

The second last picture definitely says "am I cute or what?" ![]()
Such a happy, contented little doggy!!! Congratulations on giving this little man such a wonderful life to look forward to. He looks 10 billion times better than he did at the start of March. ![]()
Hello all from the west of Ireland.
Its been just over a year (18 April 2010) since my Mammy adopted me through DID and what a year its been!
I’m lovin’ it here in Ennis and have a really nice life and lots of friends – my best friend being my step brother Yasser Aracat who is great craic – most of the time.
I love my walks every day in the woods where I meet lots of nice (and one or two not so nice!!) dogs and where Mammy now lets me off the lead as I am a good boy and don’t leg it too often.
I’m attaching a few photos taken yesterday of me out in the woods. My hair is a bit long at the moment but I’ll be going to Deirdre in Peter Barks for a cut soon (so Mammy tells me – UGH!!).
A big Hi especially to Suzanne, my foster Mammy who took such good care of me when I was really down and out before crossing the country to Co. Clare.
And thanks everyone in DID for rescueing me and for taking care of all the dogs who have no one to love them.
All the best,
Eliot, Yasser and Ber.

Hello all in DID from the wesht of Ireland.
Its been two years since Mammy adopted me from you after I was fostered by Aunty Suzanne who took such great care of me and got me back to health. Its been a great couple of years and I’m very happy living here in Ennis. I have lots of friends that I meet in the woods every day on our walkies and of course, Yasser Aracat is still my best bro.
Just wanted to check in with you all and to put up some new photos of me. And thanks very much again everyone for all you did for me and for all the other doggies.
Talk soon.
Love from Eliot.

Elliot you look fantastic! Congrat’s to your wonderful forever family. I know you’re a Barcelona fan so I’m sorry that they let you down tonight when they were beaten by Chelsea!!!!
Wishing you all many more happy days together.
Wow!!!!
From your first photos to these last ones, it is INCREDIBLE to see the transformation into the beautiful dog you have become.
So thrilled for you and well done to all who brought you to this point in your happy little life. Delighted to see you.
