Wouldn’t get to do this before the pound closes. But can do first thing when pound opens in the morning. So sorry, by the time we leave work pound is shut.
Im the same can do it at 6pm but pound shut.. unless someone in finglas can hold until 6 when i finish work.
Dropped Daryl off his foster home this morning. He is stunning, and I really mean stunning. He is the most handsome springer I’ve ever seen. Beautiful markings, the prettiest green eyes and a super waggy (full) tail, fab to see it isn’t docked. He is a dote, very good in the car, giddy but not scared, car sick or any toilet accidents. This fella would hear the grass grow, extremely alert, into everything, had his head stuck in my handbag and emerged with my Chanel sunglasses!!! We had great fun on the way to his foster home playing with the electic windows in the car, he was baffled and reacted to the every sound in the car. He is really affectionate, full of licks. He was confident enough with the fosterers other dogs. This fella is full of energy, would love to play and run riot, I could see him collapse then for serious shut eye. A beaut. If I didn’t work full time we would have found family doggy member number three!
Thanks a million to Yvonne for bringing this baby over to Catherine ![]()
Only too happy to help even in a small way. Would have loved to be able to take a de-tour to my house with this fella. I’ve never owned a pup always an older dog so his excitement and devilment made us howl laughing in the car
Well this baby is here with me and have to agree with everything Yvonne said about him. He is just gorgous !!!! He is really bouncy and friendly and gets on great with all the other dogs …He seems to love the kids .. wanted to jump up and give the boys licks however Amy was not at all impressed when he jumped up and nearly landed himself with her freshly baked baguette
.. a little social training would sort this out though ![]()
All in all a great puppy !!!!!
Spring (ers) are very much in the air. In fact all over the place, and one nicer than the other.
My Oscar went to his forever home last Sat., to a lovely couple who exercise a lot and should suit him down down to the ground.
Really miss the guy. There was something v. special about him. ( of course we all say that about our own!). Would have kept him but we do not live the lifestyle to suit them…couch potatoes really!
Daryl aka Rocky is such a fantastic dog. He is very quick to learn and so affectionate. He knows sit and is learning ‘Off’ which is very amusing ….. he now knows that when he jumps up on the counter that he gets treats for sitting back down .. so he jumps up in order to get treats ![]()
He is a great hit here really and is very relaxed with all the other dogs.
I think a home who have experience with springers would be best for this guy ![]()
and he licks my face

I met Daryl/Rocky yesterday and he really is such a fab looking dog. He has the most striking coat I have ever seen on a Springer. He was really friendly towards Faith and I. What a great little doggie ![]()
