Cindy is now named Maisie and is settling in well with her two feline sisters. She is gaining confidence all the time and we will be going to socialisation classes soon.

Cindy (now Maisie) is getting on well. She is very loving. She enjoys playing with us and with her toys. She is a bit of a magpie and presently has a shoelace, an umbrella cover and a sponge hidden in her bed!

Here is Maisie with her new friend! She is in great form, a little overweight, but we are working on that. She is enjoying the good weather, sunbathing and chasing flues – no worries!

Goodness me!
Luxury travel or what?
Maisie you certainly travel in style …..very impressed young lady!
Great thing is that Maisie LOVES her bike rides, we have had great adventures together! (There’s room for more furries in there, but don’t tell Maisie!!) ![]()
We had a lovely cycle the other day, mum brings me to nice places and I like to smell the flowers!
I am getting on very well, with mum and dad a year and a half now and I know that this is my forever home. I think some people don’t realise it can take us rescue dogs quite a while to know that we are safe and won’t be moved on again.
My behaviour is improving all the time and now we can walk all the way around the park without mum having to apologe for me growling at another dog!
Mum mentioned something about a diet but as you can see in the pictures, its only my winter coat!
Because of DID, I’m happy every day, I wag my tiny tail and smile and I know I’m loved. Mum and dad are happy too!
Thanks DID for my second chance xxx

Some people don’t realise that it can take some time for us rescue dogs to know that we have our forever home and won’t be ever treated badly or moved on again.
My behaviour has improved a lot and I can now be off lead and meet other dogs without mum having to apologise for my growling (well, most of the time!).
What’s changed most for me is that I am happy every day, I wag my tiny tail and smile and I know my family loves me.
Thank you DID for my second chance xxx
