    Hi All,

    Rita here – we adopted Cian a few weeks back. Sorry its taken so long to post here as I am not very computer literate!

    Well Cian….renamed Alfie is doing great! At first he was nervous and was shaking a lot but after a lot of rubs & cuddles he is settling in. He gets super excited about going for walks that its sometimes hard to put his lead on! He wriggles like mad with excitement! :D

    We are really trying to teach him not to pull on his lead as he really pull strongly ahead of you. He loves to get out the back and goes mad barking at any cats. We have the gate in the front garden closed at all times, as any chance he gets he flies out the door so we’re terrified of him getting out! :shock:

    He’s getting his coat cut on Tues & his teeth cleaned so he’ll be sparking for Christmas. We have a nice warm coat for him as he’d really need it in this weather!

    He really is an affectionate dog and he has brought the house alive again – its great getting up in the morning and getting out for a walk to really wake you up.

    Thanks again to Saibh & Dogs in Distress for letting us have him

    Well Alfie new name new jumper new hair do fresh teeth and a new mum…..this is going to be your best christmas ever …will wipe out all the bad memories of the bad ones.

    Be safe and feel secure little guy its amazing to hear about you now in comparison to the wreck that went to live with Sadbh on that first day…

    He looks fab in his new jumper. I’m so glad hes settled in and your’e loving his company.
    Thanks for giving him a home, a super home at that.
    we all miss him here but knowing that hes got an incredible new home and loving mam and dad makes us so so happy!
    you did an amazing thing by adopting a rescue dog

    I had the pleasure of meeting Alfie and Rita yesterday as Alfie came for his haircut. I have to say he is an adorable little fellow and sounds like he is now living the life he always deserved! :D

    I came across this picture of cian and myself at halloween
    He was up on my lap looking for cuddles as always

    He looks like a completly different doggy now !
