April 29, 2009 at 9:31 pm #84606laura1984MemberHi Folks,
Betty, renamed Bessie (suits her much better! ) has been with me for the last month. She is exremely loyal, very friendly and loves cuddles! She is brilliant with other dogs but not cats. (although with training would probably be fine.) She loves her walks and will walk for as long as you like. She is a great eater and loves nothing better than to curl up and chew on a pigs ear. She is great on the lead, very well behaved in the car, extremely obedient, her recall is fantastic and she greets everyone we meet on walks with a waggy tail and an excited tapping of her feet which I call her "happy dance"!! If ever there was a dog that deserved a good home it is Bessie. She loves children so much. My nephew who is 8 spends time with her curled up under a blanket.
She needs a home where she will be part of the family and will get lots of love and cuddles. She has so much love to give. Don’t let her looks put you off! I think she is a king charles trapped in a staffies body!!
If I was able to, I would not be letting this dog go. She is one in a million! It is only because I have cats booked in for petsitting and I cannot risk other peoples pets even though I love her so much. Please, if someone can give her a good home, please get in touch.
Here are some pictures of her!!

May 2, 2009 at 11:11 am #84668laura1984MemberBessie makes friends very easily. She loves my nephew Cameron and never begs when people are eating.
I have a boarder here this week and Bessie is getting on great with her. I will post some photos of them together later on.
Heres some pictures of Bessie and my nephew Cameron, though.May 13, 2009 at 3:19 pm #84903laura1984MemberSorry, Folks. You have all just missed out on owning the worlds best dog. Bessie is going to live with me now. She is just too brilliant to give away so I had to keep her! Thanks to all the admin staff for all their help and support and a big THANK YOU comes from Bessie herself!

September 1, 2009 at 5:17 pm #87903animalhelperMember"Thought everyone at DID would like some pictures to show off a well behaved, well socialised and well spoiled staffie!!
We are loving her more and more each day and can’t thank you all enough for all the joy you have given us by Bessie coming to us. We couldn’t picture life without her! As you can see, Bessie and my nephew, Cameron are best pals. Her best doggy friend is an old lab cross named Phoebe. Her new favourite hobbies include long walks, playing with her sliothar, getting cuddles and eating ham!!"January 4, 2010 at 2:29 am #92230laura1984MemberHi Everyone,
Things are getting better and better for Bessie. She has made so many new friends and we are enjoying our new calling in life. To show everyone what well behaved, well socialised and beautiful dogs staffies can be. Bessie on her own has convinced so many people. Our goal is one a day!!
She has come on leaps and bounds since last time I posted. Her separation anxiety is gone and she is no longer afraid of the sweeping brush. She now knows that it is for sweeping and that is all! The hoover is still a little scary but not as much as it was.
Her are some more pictures of Bessie since she has come to us. We love her so much!!!January 4, 2010 at 4:16 pm #92249laura1984MemberHaha, thats mad! Yeah she is looking great now. She is so relaxed and is really enjoying life and all her doggie friends that come and stay. As soon as I get my own place I will be back to you guys for another dog for Bessie to play with. (Maybe 2!) I was only looking through the poundies lastnite. So many gorgeous dogs that you would wonder how they ever ended up there.
