We had Buttons at the Vet yesterday and X rays have shown that she has a torn ligament in her left rear knee. She will need to get injections
for the next 4 Mondays and is only allowed short 10 minute walks which will not impress her. In reality it will have to be a bit longer as she has a funny kind of routine for her to do her business, especially in the morning.
. Hated leaving her at the Vets for the X ray, cried a bit. Can’t help it. I suppose it’s because it upsets me to think she’s going to be scared. ![]()
Ah Buttons you gave me a fright when I read the first few words…..thankfully it’s treatable! Whew! Be a brave girl and I know you’ll be spoiled rotten.xx
Buttons had her second injection
today. I brought some of her favourite treats with me to distract her, it worked a bit but she still knew she didn’t like it. The Vet seemed pleased and we can increase her walking time to about 20 mins on the leash. Poor Baby can’t understand why she is not allowed to run. I feel so sorry for her but it’s important she take it handy for now. We have another two injections to go. Would you believe, that we have her 1 year on Thursday?
One year of yips, curls and licks! Wonderful.
A portion (!) of the things Buttons has accumulated in the year…

Hi, Buttons is in great form at the moment. She spent the Easter weekend in Kerry and loved the smells and a had run on a beach. She was smiling all the time. I’ve entered a photo competition with her and would appreciate some votes if you have a minute. Thanks.

I’ve just voted for you Buttons! Good Luck and I’ll see if I can get family and friends to vote too. Either way, you’re always a winner with me. ![]()
