Ruby had a great day today…she had a long walk in fairview park and up the coast road in clontarf. she met a good few dogs and was really looking to play, but none of them were too interested in her
then we took a drive with a friend and she snoozed pretty much the whole time, only perking up when she heard some horses clomp-clomping down the road ahead of us…she definitely recognised the sound! maybe she was around horses before she came to us? wish we could look into this little girl’s past…
now shes trying to swipe my hands off the keyboard, obviously she’s in need of some attention…better go!!
March 24, 2010 at 10:08 am #95731amythornMemberWell little Ruby was just dropped to the vet to be neutered… Poor girl was very nervous but I’m sure she’s in good hands. Steve is under strict instructions to phone me at work as soon as her hears that she’s done and okay! Paws crossed that she takes it in stride and will be as good as new in a few days…

All the best from ShirleyMarch 24, 2010 at 12:22 pm #95736sassychickMemberAh Amy,she will be fine..my Ruby aka Samantha was done on the 3rd Feb she was a bit out of sorts for a day or so and then bounced back to life …she didn’t like her collar though and it had to be replaced 3 times because she kept breaking them …let us know how she is
May 16, 2010 at 8:53 am #86231amythornMemberWell, Ruby recovered from her operation without a bother…she didn’t even need to wear her crazy collar when we were home, although we still made her wear it when we went out, just to be safe…she’s back to her cheeky self now, loving her walks and playing in the park. She finally likes playing with other dogs and is happy to see any dog at all, until we try to pet or cuddle the competition! She’s very possessive of us…we’re trying to work on that. She is just the best girl…we love her so much! Thanks DID for letting us bring her home!

January 2, 2012 at 10:33 am #107860amythornMemberHappy New Year from Ruby and Family…Ruby has been with us for almost two years now and she is fabulous. We spent New Years Day on the beach and you can see that Ruby wore herself out. I know we’re biased, but we think she really is the best dog on Earth. We hope all the other DID dogs had a great day too!
