Oh, Brian and Marie, thank you so, so much for the wonderful update! Alfie looks so well, gorgeous and happy. I am not one bit surprised at the bed moving story – he was an amazing little chap when we had him here!! Stay well and happy – all three of you!!!
And now to make the lovely Mrs Colgans day!
An update from Alfies fantastic family
Alfie is really well installed now. He is really well socialised with the other dogs.
The "Off leash Play Area for Dogs" in our local park is brilliant. Alfie is an absolute panic to watch. Everyone loves him, particularly families who have an older dog they need to exercise. When Alfie is around all the dogs want to play with him. He is really very patient and takes the rough and tumble. He rolls over with the other dogs and loves chasing the ball.
At home he flicks the ball and knows exactly how to get it to land just beside your feet.
Another thing, he picks up on routine really quickly. Every night when the telly is turned off, he runs out to the kitchen to get his bed and helps carry it upstairs. He leads the way gently holding on to his bed. The message is "He is in charge"
I am enclosing a photo from last week. Alfie decided to have a rummage in my handbag and found a lipstick. See the results attached.
I am sure Alfie’s Foster Mammy Susan will enjoy this AlfieAndMakeup.jpeg
Do you know, I am not ONE BIT surprised at the antics of this little man! We only had him a short time but he was – and IS, I can see – an absolute character!!! He really believed he was in charge with us too, even of the much bigger dogs that are permanently here!!!! I am so thrilled to keep hearing about the little man’s escapades – that last picture is a riot. Thank you so much, Brian and Marie for giving this guy the truly wonderful home he really deserves.
