A HUGE THANK YOU TO PURRRRFECT PETS PET SHOP!

As most of you know and remember the events surrounding Wackers Pet shop on the Long Mile Road, I am delighted to inform you that Wackers is now GONE and the shop has been taken over by a lovely man called Tom Lewis, and the shop is now called Purrrfect Pets.
Tom is very interested in rescues and wants to help in any way he can to help promote adoption. He has invited us to host awareness days at the shop (which we will definatly take up his offer on) as well as helping with food, fundraising etc.
He donated three 15kg bags of dog food as well as 2 big bags of Markies for D.I.D which we very much appreaciate!!!

So everyone please join me in congratulating him on this new and very much improved shop, and thanking him for his generosity.

Best of luck to Tom in his new venture – very brave in the current economic crisis.

We don’t live in Dublin but each summer we make our annual trip along the Long Mile Road to Crumlin Children’s Hospital so we’ll stop off and support Tom by making a few purchases for our dog.

Hi all, and thank you for your kind words, Taking on this shop and turning it around has been very dificult not least because of the economic times we are in but more to do with the problems with what happend before, and there is still some people oput there hell bent on having a go at us, it seems there are people who still think we are wackers with a new name, any we are trying to be positive, so enough said on that, I want to say that if D.I.D. need anything and we can help, we would be more than happy to, So guys dont be shy in asking.
There aint no mountain high enough.
