    Update on Naomi.. :)
    She is doing very well…. .. :)
She has made herself at home…. .. :)
She is such a clever, cute and cuddly dog… :)
I fell in love with her the minute I saw her….. .. :)
I have to say she had a great night last night, even when it was only her 1st night in strange surroundings it didn’t bother her at all…. .. :)
When we told her it was time for bed she just gave us a kiss and hopped on to the couch and fell asleep… :) little angel..
I didn’t hear a whimper, moan or bark out of her since she came…
    She is the best….. :D
She is ok on the lead… :)

I’ll post again as soon as I have any other news…. :)
    Naomi says Hi…. :)xxxx

Thanks for the update I am sure the poor little girl was so happy to feel warm, safe, cuddled and fed she probably thought she died and was in heaven.
It is the case with the majority of pound dogs.
It’s really hard to think that they could be put to sleep, just because they are not homed in time and space being of a premium in pounds.
Hopefully someday it will improve but not in my lifetime.
One thing I am sure of is that we have to keep trying and making a difference which we do to each and every dog and pup we take into our care.
One thing I can guarantee is that Dogs In Distress as a group really do care and that can be seen with all the fosterer’s and transport offered.
Thanks to all concerned for making a difference.

This little girl is AMAZING… :)
She doesnt make a sound….. :) Still have to hear what her bark is like….
She is a typical irish terrier because of her features…… like a teddy bear look effect…. … :) cute!!!
She is starting to get clever as she knows some commands such as sit and go get some water…. etc… hahah…
Nothing but good things to report about this dog… she is just a STAR… ;)

She is a sweet girl, herself and Cassie are really good friends cos Cass is a bit more mellow than the other two nutters.

Mind you when she first came she fell madly in love with Bailey, but then she realised he has doggie a.d.h.d and she was too much of a lady for his antics

She is a real people pleaser and loves affection. she really enjoys her walks and we tried her off lead in a safe field today and she never strays far from you.

Naomi is doing great, she is in her element cos all the family are around for her to snuggle into!

She is such a great lapdog, and loves the kids.

Her recall is 100% and when we are out her favourite time is when they are off lead runnin together. but she also is a real terrier and enjoys findin new scents.

She makes funny snuffily noises when she is happy and i was googling pug mixes cos she sounds like one

She has found her perch up on the window lookin at the kids out playing and the world goin by. She never barks or jumps around up there.

She had a bath today and she loved it,so all round a great lil happy girl.

naomi has the best outlook on life
sometimes in life you just need to stop and smell the roses,if there are no roses the grass will do

naomi was in getting spayed today and she was a great little patient from what i heard from the vets. she was happy to see me but seemed equally happy to stay with the vet gettin belly rubs!!
i really do have nothing but good things to say about naomi.
she is such a people pleaser that she just makes you smile.
she is not demanding and is house trained and crate trained, she loves the car and just sits there watchin the world go by.
and here she is modeling the conehead look which is really in this season ;)

we had a mini great escape in the kitchen last night :o
naomi was tucked up nicely in her crate when we went to bed but some of my 3 (my money is on mya the little divil!!) decided they needed naomis skills!!
so they pulled her crate into the centre of the kitchen, opened the door and naomi got the goodies off the table……..
this is evidence of the bad example that mya sets but every foster doggie (and people!)cant resist her charms
this shows the need for someone to give this girlie a home before she gets to corrupted by my hooligans
