This is cute little Andre!!! He’s soooo cute! He settled in very well when he came to my house first. Had a sniff around, a bit of water and fell fast asleep! He’s so sleepy all the time, and really loves his cuddles! He’s a bit quieter than Ace but when he gets going they’re both messers! Very sweet natured little puppy. Here’s some photos, and I’ll keep you updated!

Very true! He is still so tiny but filling out well. Eats all his grub and then has a wrestle with Ace and they both just pass out in their bed Andre is a very laid back puppy! Loves his cuddles and loves to play. He would make a great addition to any home. Even though he is only six weeks old he is going to the toilet on newspaper in the crate!!! He’s very smart!

IMG_3137.jpgAugust 27, 2010 at 6:31 pm #100528lizaliserMemberHi, Just a few words about Ace and Andre, We got them both yesterday, thank you Jen for dropping them off. They are our first foster pups. We have a 14 week old German pointer pup called Nora. The first few hours were spent monitoring Nora as she plays very hard! She reckons they are toys that move we think. The two boys were quiet for a bit as they got to know their surroundings and their new predator. But soon enough the boys were scrapping with each other and running around the place, christening the garden and the house. These two are six weeks old I am told and so small. Nora looks like a giant next to them! They are so cute. Ace has a lot of bottle. He ambushes Andre at every oppurtunity. He is going to be a feisty young dog. He is head of the pack between the two of them. Although Andre fights his corner pretty good. From my observation Andre is more quiet, likes to follow you around and cuddle and sleep. When it all gets too rough he lets loose on Ace and really shows him enough is enough. I have to say it is very cute seeing such small things learning to assert themselves. Nora is coming on so well with them, finding her soft mouth and being more and more gentle with the little ones. However she occasionally nips myself or Che because she cant play fight with the boys. She is on a steep learning curve too, and its really good for her to be in these two beauts company. They slept well and at 5.50am they woke and can they both howl! At breakfast the three were fed and Nora obviously finished first and was straight over to steal some of the pups food. Amazingly Ace turned around and proper growled and defended his food. As I said a lot of bottle. I’ll put up some photos in a bit, we have loads now. The three of them just love to cuddle up together. These fella’s are just adorable and myself and Che have been smiling at their antics since they arrived.

August 29, 2010 at 11:56 am #100387lizaliserMemberA little update on Andre. Well the shy quiet little boy is turning into a real man. Holding his own with Nora, she is a bit shocked too! He is barking at her, and really does not like sharing his treats or food with her. He growled at her when she tried to steal a treat from him yesterday. I nearly fell over laughing. He makes himself sound and look so fierce. Ace is still ambushing him, however Andre is really fighting back and giving as good as he gets. He is such a sweet boy, coming out of himself so much. He loves playing tug of war with Nora over chews. When Andre and Ace arrived to us on Thursday they took their time eating, chewing each pellet of dried food. Now three days later when I put their food down they wolf it. Maybe its because there is a bigger dog around who can muscle in and steal their food. It is great to see Andre interested in his food and able to defend it now after he was such a small boy and meagre eater. He is as big as Ace now. I think Andre will have a lovely long coat, his eyes are almost blue black, as is Aces. He is so cute now and I reckon he will grow into a proud graceful dog, warm hearted and measured and know when to take cover. He likes to cuddle up to Ace and sometimes to Nora, but there are times when he just wants to have an undisturbed sleep by himself. Toilet training is going ok, Andre mostly goes outside but you have to keep an eye when he wakes up and put him out straight away. Nora is teaching them both where to pee and three dogs pooing in your back yard is a lot of mess.
August 31, 2010 at 6:39 am #100646lizaliserMemberAndre the GIANT! He is amazing. My husband Che is really falling for this fella. My best pal was over last night, and she is not an animal person, there are only 3 dogs that she has had a bit of a connection with in a good many year. That changed when Andre fell asleep on her lap. She actually uttered the words "I would keep him if I wasn’t such a weirdo with animals" Now that is some testament to this boy. He is feisty, has the funniest bark. It goes WHOW WHOW WHOW in a squekey voice. He loves loves loves his food. He is getting really strong too. He is affectionate and independent. Loves to play with you and by himself. He is an all round dote. He would be great as either a sole dog or with a good buddy he could knock around with. Full of character and bottle this one. And really quick to catch on. He is still using the house to to relieve himself but is doing it outside more and more each day. I am not using paper training as it ends up in the 3 dogs mouths more often than not. I am just using the vigilant method, whereby when these boys wake up i take them outside straight away. We make such a fuss over them when they go outside and yesterday they responded! Wagging their tails like mad. Something similar to when your baby smiles at you for the first time. Andre will be ready to go in about a week. You have to give these fellas a look in, they are GORGEOUS. Both asleep on my lap with our Nora trying to get in on the action aswell.
Photo 317.jpgSeptember 2, 2010 at 7:00 pm #100805lizaliserMemberAndre and Ace should be called Ronnie and Reggie Kray. The are little tigers. They battle with each other and then fall asleep on top of each other when its all over. They are such sweet hearts. Best buddies. And so loveable, full of cuddles and fun. These little boys will be wormed, microchipped and have at least he 1st vaccination before being rehomed. They must be neutered at 6 mts. old. They are pretty active and would suit a household with an active lifestyle.
September 3, 2010 at 12:32 pm #100763JenBMemberAwwwwh!!! They’re are both coming along so well!!!! They are serious cuties. My friend Ciara put in an adoption form for little Andre, so I really hope she gets him!
