Well Cody (aka Fiona) has settled in to her "retirement home" really well. She is completely deaf and very limited in her vision. It’s both sad and funny ;) to see her getting a huge surprise when she walks up to you and senses you are there, does a little "hey! I didn’t expect to find you here" jump and then wags her little tail furiously!!! She brought home a little reminder of her stay in the pound in the form of kennel cough but is on antibiotics and doing fine.

Thanks to DID and to the staff at Ashton who looked after her until we could take her home. We intend to ensure she has no more changes/disruption in her twilight years and to give her all the hugs and TLC she deserves – she’s a little dote. :D

Some photos of her below (hope this works) with Angel our Samoyed. I couldn’t manage to get Johnny Hobo (another Ashton doggy) in the photos – ended up with a blur of black fur.
