Indianna we are waiting for the delivery ……. I transported this beautiful dog to her foster family yesterday. She has a big tummy and I think we may have little puppies very soon. She is a gentle soul and so friendly. She will be well looked after, and trotted contentedly into her new foster home with her human foster sister and Dad. Watch this space.
yoddyMemberHappy Days Betty/Betsy! So pleased to see the wonderful pics of you – you are gorgeous as ever. And even better – you have a buddy. Well you have landed on all 4 paws (no more than you deserve)!!
yoddyMemberI didn’t meet Homer but I fostered 4 of his brothers. His face looks just like Billy/Beanie who has happily recently been homed. His other brother Biggs has just sent an update too. Great to see the pups growing and happy.
yoddyMemberWhat a surprise! I log on and who has an update only little Biggs. I’m so pleased to see you – looking bigger but still little(ish). Hope you are having a great time with your new family – keep in touch. It’s great to see updates of ‘our foster babies’ out in the World. xx
yoddyMemberThanks Nicole for the lovely photos. I’m glad Tess is settling in. She won’t know herself getting out every day for walks. I still can’t understand why there is not a queue forming for Tess – she is a beautiful natured and beautiful looking dog. I don’t do ‘big’ dogs (over 7kg!!) and yet she won my heart and I miss her and I shed more tears yesterday without her. I hope her forever family is not too far away and she can settle into her forever home. Hugs and kisses to Tess.xx Thanks again Nicole for stepping in and getting her out walking.
yoddyMemberFor the first time since she arrived 2 months ago, Tess got the freedom of the downstairs today. Look how excited she is to be able to wander the house freely
(Also note where Tio is hiding out gobbling Tessie’s treats! ).

Sadly that means that Tess will be leaving me and moving to a new fosterer as she is too strong for me to walk. She no longer has to be crate rested and she can start short 10min walks twice a day and build on that. Tess also got microchipped and got her booster. She is home now and exhausted (I hear her little snores ). She saw 2 vets and they both thought she was a fantastic dog – one followed me out and asked how he could follow her story with DID. Tess is still recovering and will have to take things slow, so for a while yet there will be no running or jumping or rough play.
I can’t say enough good things about Tess – she has been an absolute joy these past 2 months and she deserves the best of homes as she will bring such fun and love to any family. Mixed feelings right now….so happy for Tess, but I will miss her funny little face.
For info: Tess weighs 16.7kg today. The vet reckons she is still very much a puppy at just under 1 year, but her skeletal frame looks grown and he didn’t think she would grow any or much bigger.

yoddyMemberAlfie, Alfie, Alfie!! Look at you all grown up – you look so solid and you were such a little thing when I had you in January. Your coat is shining, you face is smiling and you look so happy and confident. Not the shy little boy any more. You landed on all 4 paws.
Lucky you look fantastic too – what happy brothers. Caroline it’s great to get an update on Mammy Cara – lovely to hear she’s a mischief maker and making up for her lost puppy time. 3 happy doggiesyoddyMemberSuch sad news but thankfully she’ll have all the love in the World to see her through. Have lots of fun Tina – so glad you have such a wonderful foster family.
yoddyMemberThat is the most handsome picture of you Bruno – what a stunner I think green is your color – you’ll be a big hit on St Patricks Day!
You got fantastic reports about your behavior in St Anne’s Park. Hoping somebody saw you and fell in love (can’t understand why you haven’t been snapped up already).yoddyMemberTess is very excited to be in week 7 of her recovery. She is very proud of her walking and insisted I video her prancing around the garden for her legion of followers to admire (her words not mine). She’s also discovered the puppy within and is full of mischief these days. While I’m trying to cook she’s grabbing the tea towel and wanting to play tug. At night when Tio is upstairs, Tessie has a wander in the sitting room and takes most of Tio’s toys into her crate!! (In the morning when Tessie is having her breakfast Tio goes into the crate and removes them – and some extra ones for good measure! )
Anita, Tess says hi to you all and Vinny. She loved her play and rubs and hopes Vinny gets a little buddy. Tessie is still hoping that she’ll have her own family soon and she can go mad when she’s no longer in the crate.
Here’s her video: Look who’s Walking

IMG_2087.JPGyoddyMemberInto week 6 with Tess today – it’s flown by, which just proves what an angel she is. I gave her a good brushing as she was shedding very heavily and she was great – got 1kg of hair off. Tess is getting a little more active this week so I’m crating her more now than I was before. But Linda (DID Willis mam) suggested putting 2 crates together. I did it and it’s working great – she has room to walk, a bowl of water and both a play area and snoozy area. She’s loves going into the crate and stays there playing by herself for hours. I leave her in it at night too and she has Goldie in the room for company. Poor darling – she must think the rest of her days are gonna be in a crate what a surprise she’ll get in a few weeks. Tess met some new people at the weekend and she just got straight into playing and looking for rubs from them. I envy the family that will adopt this beautiful laid back fun girl.
