A quick update, buddy is doing fantastic. He is a lively little chap and still cant understand why everyone we meet doesnt want to say hello or be greeted with his enthusiastic jumping

He is toilet trained 99% of the time..but sometimes excitement makes it very hard to hold
He’s gotten really big, has a fair amount of brown in his fur and his coat has started to get quite thick & fluffy.
He would walk and run all day so goes for a nice long jog in the evenings , my husband eventually has a reliable running partner  . Has also mastered the art of walking beside the buggy without tripping us all up at last.

He’s a handsome little chappy and we’re constantly been stopped when out walking to admire our little guy and he laps it up :D
Still has an aversion to bad weather and water.
The kids adore him, he behaves better for them than for me ;)

well almost 2 weeks on buddy bumpkins  as he seems to be known now is doing fab, almost like he’s always been here, at this stage though Im not sure if my little boy thinks he’s a dog or my little dog thinks he’s a boy
buddy went for his first walk with the buggy today and to say it was "interesting" would be an understatement!! all worth it when he seen we were going for a little puppy play with a friends 12 week old lab and they got on like a house on fire, buddy was worn out after his play and had a sit down protest on the way home so then travelled home in style perched on the top of the buggy like he’d always belonged there
almost there with the toilet training, he’ll still go beside the door if its raining as he’s a doggy adverse to bad weather conditions.
The kids are totally smitten with buddy,a fantastic addition to our family :D

well buddy(aka spud) is doing fantastic, he is proving so easy to train and sleeps amazingly well, thought we would have issues because he had no other doggy’s to snuggle up to but he’s bombared with cushions/clocks&soft toys  my little boy is mad about him and they follow each other around all day, my little girl has buddy sitting/staying/shaking hands :D he’ll be the best trained dog in Ireland. not overly keen on been outside in the rain&found a nice dry spot in the kids playhouse to do his business
