It’s fascinating to hear how heidi’s siblings are getting on. So strange to think our little baby has brothers and sisters out there doing all the same things. It’s amazing how quickly she has become family. Everyone gets up earlier so they can be first to see her. She had 2nd vaccinations last week so has been out and about. Gorgeous to see her bouncing around in the bluebells. Yesterday’s outing was the petshop to buy more chewy toys to distract her from socks n knickers!!She went on first trip to my son s playschool today – he was bursting with pride and cuddling her like crazy. He adores her so much he stayed at home to mind her when his Daddy and all his siblings went to a huge family party for the whole weekend!"I need to mind my dog" True love.
SuaimhneasMemberJust to let you know how Heidi is doing. She s a little dote I melt when I m cuddling her. She’s so good I was a bit startled. When my collies were pups they were a lot wilder and the housetraining was non existent. So serious serious thanks to her foster Mammy Shirley. Heidi poos in the garden!!!She was a star on her first night home. Wowed the crowds with her gentleness and cuddles. She slept all night with her teddy(Rusty the Spaniel) in her crate no crying, the same last night. She has a big thing for my little fellas underpants and socks and hides them in her crate. Shirley, should I shut her crate door at night or let her have the run of the kitchen? When she piddled in doors did you say nothing and just praise her when she went outside or the other method – no! don’t to that? I want to continue whatever you were at. Her footballing skills are improving all the time. When I find the camera I post a photo of her lounging in flower beds!!
SuaimhneasMemberHi Shirley,
Can’t wait to see you and our new baby Heidi tomorrow. Everyone is so excited. Cillian spends his time pretending to be Heidi. He sits, stays and rollsover on command for imaginary treats! Spent today getting all the bits for her, my aunt came to join in the excitement. The 3 youngest have all spent sometime in heidi’s crate pretending she’s there. Heidimania has struck.P.S Cillian might try and adopt Cathal as well he spoke about him all evening and his amazing footballing skills!
