Barney has settled in great. He loves his walks, pulls a little if he sees a bird :) I have no problems walking the two dogs at the same time . He loves loves loves being inside and if ur in the kitchen he will be with u. Such a great companion. Him and polly still have not played yet, polly tried to make him play but he just ignored her, he will play with us no problem .

Barney has been with us just over a week now & he has had a busy week. He went in next door & met the 3 kiddies aged from 5 to 8 and he loved them he was smothered with hugs & kisses & loved it. My brother came down with his two dogs and there was no problem with them all going for a walk together , they also had a great run around on the green. Barney would be fine in a house with no other dog as he is not fussed if Polly is in the house with him or not. He would much rather play with humans in the house a bit like my own dog Polly. He would need a house where there is someone there all day as he loves human company and doesn’t like being left outside. He would make someone a great companion.

We took Barney from the pound last Sunday. He got into the car no problem and was a joy in the car driving home . At one stage he even fell asleep. The first thing he did when he came into the house wax jump up into the couch. He now knows where his bed is, it only took a few times to show him. He was a bit smelly so we put him in the shower which he had no problem with and sat and let me brush him for ages. The first night he seemed vey tired and just lay on his bed watching what my own dog polly wAs doing . Over the last few days he has settled in very well. He will wait at door & let me wipe his paws when he comes in from that horrible weather. He is grand on the lead. He has a problem when polly jumps up on couch he comes over and growls at her, I haven’t yet figured out if he is protective over me or he thinks the couch is his. Other than that the two of them are fine with each other. He is much much calmer then polly and he is a bit of a fatso so hopefully getting fed properly will sort that out …. We are meeting with other dogs 2 Moro for a long walk so will update then. :)

Nicky is getting on great. He is so easy to train, we only had to tell him once to sit and wait for his food and now he does it every time. Last night for the very first time he had a little sleep beside me on the couch, usually he just wants to play

Poor Nicky had to go to the vet on Mon as he had bad diarrhoea. Even with his bad diarrohea he had no accidents at night. he has only had about 3/4 piddle accidents so far & always when the door is closed. He was very good in the vets but the poor thing got sick a few times in the car … I will take him out in the car again when he is finished his tablets. In a good note his poos are getting better by the day :) .
When we are out walking he does not like cars passing him he either stops or does a little twirl so we are trying to snap him out of it. Him and polly are now chasing around the house playing. Nicky would need a house that’s full of energy as he wants to play all the time. He still plays a lot of play biting so teaching him not to do this. He sits & gives the paw & loves to follow u and sit at ur feet.

Nicky is like a different dog after his few days in our house. He is full of energy and just wants to play. Yesterday eve after his walk , a play out the back & then a run on the green he still wanted to play. He came up on couch beside me & I really thought he would fall asleep but no… He tried to play & ended up falling backwards off the couch :)
Him & Polly are now playing but we still have a few fights as nicky try’s to get into bed with Polly and she is not having any of it. He knows to sit and stay but once ur back is turned that’s the end of the staying.

Nicky came to our house on Saturday morning. He didn’t make a
Sound in the car but did get sick a little. He is not afraid of people
He loves human contact. We had to move his bed to beside the couch
As he would just lie beside the couch. He is brilliant on the lead
Even better then my own dog , he actually walks right beside u or behind u. We had a few accidents on sat night but none sun or mon night :) he is playful & will paw at u to try get u to play :) Already Dave had been able to bring him out for a a walk without a lead as he does not leave ur side. His recall is great and he even brings back toys for u to throw again.

Clara & Tammy are with us a week now and believe me it takes no time for this two to settle in. Tammy has had 3 or 4 accidents in the house but it is only when the door is closed…. its like she doesn’t know how to tell you she wants to go out, there are never any accidents at night. Clara and Polly are not growling as much at each other but Clara is very protective of Tammy. They are a joy to be in the house and they are great on walks , We had a 45 min walk this morning and even walked by a horse. Tammy got a bit tired towards the end and sat down on the footpath but she made it the whole way home :)

Niamh Dropped these two little ones to me on Sun morning.. Thanks Niamh. They are smaller then I thought and they are so so nice, All they want is to be loved. Clara & my own dog Polly are growling a bit at each other but I think Clara is afraid she will rob her food or her toy in her bed.they seem to have been sleeping on one bed but now they have two and they get into their own bed, its nice to have their own space. They both love love love kids and want to go over to every one they see. Clara went in next door on her first day here and stayed in there for two hours getting hugs with out a bother and Tammy was fine here with Polly. they have no problem being put outside for a while with door closed , they just go off and have a play. they dont seem to know how to sit but if you say No they lie down .. So cute.
