Some new photos for you Angie!
April took the photo when she saw the boys joining me for a nap on the sofa the other day.

All going well with Snape, every week so much improvement :)

I’m "banned" from going for walks for probably a few months (by my physio) which is a real disappointment and nuisance, but the upside is that Snape is now getting used to me not being the one who brings him for walks (Evan is the main walker now but the others help out too). Snape still wants to see me all the time but is getting better at relaxing with the others when I go out.

    Hope you like the photo.

Yesterday brought a new adventure for Snape as it was his first day to go to Doggy Daycare Dobby is used to is because he has gone there regularly for one day each month, but for Snape it was a first and I was anxious to see how he would get along. I need not have worried because he went in fine, happy to follow Dobby and see lots of new dogs.

They had each played with other dogs but kept a constant check on each other and also how very very cute Snape is. He ran out all excited to see us and thankfully I will be more relaxed now about sending him to Daycare next month.

Snape is only ten days with us and we are all "hooked" on him so much. He is so chilled and relaxed some of the time but still each day he has times (particularly in the evening) when he seems dazed and on edge. But it’s very early days and he is doing very well.

Snape and Dobby are turning into good friends, playing more and more each day. Just had to share this lovely photo with you – my daughter took it early this morning when she saw the boys asleep on her bed.

Another new adventure for Snape yesterday when we went to meet cousin Rebel in Drogheda. The three dogs got along just fine, though the heat meant that none of them ran around as much as usual and they spent most of the afternoon in the shade instead.

Every now and then I’ll give Dobby a carrot to chew on and he loves it. So this morning I gave one to Snape too and had such fun watching them. Snape loved his and was happily chewing it until he noticed Dobby had one too. So over he went and robbed Dobby’s and ran away to chew that instead. They have fought many "battles" over toys this week but for some reason Dobby just seemed amused and so they sat there side by side, Snape chewing on his stolen carrot and Dobby watching him. ( The photo is not great becasue it is so sunny)

It seems that Dobby is intent on waking Snape up whenever he wants to play

Slept all night again, awoke about 7am. Eat breakfast with enthusiasm, let us put on his harness and lead for the car no problem. Came with us to drop big sister to her summer job then back home for some great fun in the garden , both doggies chasing the balls and trying to outdo each other.
I work and craft in the conservatory which is so handy because with the weather fine I leave the door open so they can come in and out from the garden. Snape keeps an eye on me at all times, checking that I’m still there it seems.

There is a little couch in the conservatory and he has taken a liking to it, been coming in for rests then going out for some play – Evan is out there with them now as I type but they seem fine out in the garden without us as well – they don’t go far from me and are always in view.

Will try post a photo now

Indiana – Yes they are indeed, two cracking little dogs!

Angela – we eventually took off the harness, when we came in from our evening walk, no bother thankfully.

What an interesting day it has been. We collected Calvin yesterday and the poor little fella was very nervous and frightened of us when he came home. In just twenty four hours he has already relaxed so much. He is still only happy when he comes towards us, not happy if we approach him yet ,but as we have been getting lots of kisses all day and as he is loving sitting and snuggling in beside us, we are very happy with how well he is coming on. He is following me around, so now I have two little "shadows".

Big thanks to Angela and John for being such caring Foster Parents and for your encouragement too, you do fantastic work!

Calvin is now called Snape. So now we have Dobby and Snape , both names from Harry Potter.

We took things very easy today, doing very little really except spending time with the dogs. We had two short car trips which were no bother at all and two short walks which he thoroughly enjoyed – hope to get out again later if the rain keeps away. Angela and John manage so many dogs on their walks, for me it is a learning curve to manage two, but so far so good.

I had some pictures ready to post but can’t see how to do it. Will ask the kids and maybe they can see how, if so will post some up later.
