Benji has gone to his forever home.
I am going to miss the little guy
, but I know he will be very happy with his new family.
I probably should have mentioned this earlier, but Benji would not be able to live with cats, birds or small furries. I guess it’s the terrier in him!
He would happily live with other dogs or children as he LOVES to play. He would love to have someone to play football with….I’m no good as I kick like a girl! lol ![]()
Benji has some interest!
He’s actually having some visitors tomorrow, so paws crossed things go well.
Benji has been neutered and is recovering well.
It would be wonderful if he was to get his forever home soon.
10 Things I Love About Benji:
1. He is good with other dogs. He loves to play with them.
2. He walks well on the lead.
3. He is fully housetrained!!
4. He knows how to sit, beg and give paw!
5. He is very patient when you need to bathe or groom him.
6. He enjoys playing football in the garden.
7. He has a good appetite and tucks into his Burns.
8. He can be left alone if needed.
9. He loves to get onto your lap for a cuddle.
10. He is very, very cute.
Benji’s first evening with us (before his bath!!):

Benji in the pound:

Pop has been here since Thursday evening and has settled extremely quickly.
He is a very good boy: Completely clean in the house, walks wells on the lead, people-friendly, dog-friendly, quiet at night, can be left alone without any problem, can be bathed and groomed with out a fuss.
He can be a little cheeky, but is very biddable, so would respond well to training. He is extremely clever. I now have him sitting on command and in one walk he learned not to pull on the lead. He would suit a agility/flyball home.
His only vice is that he is obsessed with the cat. He should not be homed with cats or small furries.
He has not met any children, but i think he would be fine with dog-savvy kids. He loves to play, so a home with active children may really suit him.
I will be fostering this little cutie!
Hopefully I will be heading out there tomorrow to pick him up, so watch this space!
