    Hi everyone,
oceana is going to her new home today, we are going to miss her loads :( but want to say thanks to audery & co for finding her a great family, she is going to have a great life with them which she really does deserve, im not just saying this but she really has been great, her new family are so lucky to have her, even tho its only been for a short time, she has been great.OMG im getting so soppy :( right stop it now! :D

Y-day after all the rain, she was a bit mucky so we gave her a shower so she would be nice and clean going to her new home, she absolutely loved getting dried with the hairdryer she just lay there like a little diva!!!

She slept with Aaron last night because it was her last night, he was a little sad this morning going off to school but i keep telling him that we saved her life and i think he takes pride in that which is nice, i knew this would of been hard with it been our first foster but he’s not as bad as i taught, which is good.

So happy for her, she will be near the beach so will be able to go for swims and runs along the beach :D
Oh oceana your new life starts today and its going to be the life you deserve ;) hopefully vicky & family will keep us updated on how she is doing.
    Two last pic’s.
Aaron and tilly last night having a snuggle-
isn’t she funny the way she sits on the sofa!!

    Hello
Sorry it’s been so long since last update, it’s been nearly a month, didn’t think it was that long, time flies when your having fun

Oceana is doing great, she is so funny and such a character.
The pic’s below are of her and a lovely little springer Murphy. We meet murphy every morning in the park and she loves playing with him, she takes him by the lead and brings him on a walk, its so funny to watch. Next week i’ll try and get a video of it to upload.
She’s having a snooze out the back at the moment enjoying the lovely warm weather :D
    Will update next week.

Forgot to say thanks to justineemoe for the advice about the harness, haven’t had a chance but going to try and get over to the long mile road pet shop and pick one up, although she is getting better i think that would do her the world of good.

    Some pic’s
The 2nd pic she is actually asleep lying on her back

    Hi everyone,

    Update on oceana
She’s doing really well, I wish my circumstances where different and we could keep her, going to be so worried about her when she’s leaves us, we have all become so attached, but i know she will be going to some great family because she really does deserve it!

We have been bringing her for a swim on the warm days and she loves it, she’s so funny trying to get at the ducks and swans
She’s getting loads of attention when we are out, which she loves, the minute someone goes to rub her she plonks herself down on her back with the paws up in the air looking for a belly rub, its so sweet!
Going out to the park now to let her chase the birds,
    post some pics later :)

    Hi :D

Just a quick update on how oceana is doing, she has settled in here really well, you would think she was always here, she is such a happy placid dog. She is sleeping well, she sleeps downstairs and comes up about half 8 to wake us up.

She is still a bit strong on the lead and wants to sniff in every nook and cranny we pass, but she’s getting better each day. She loves playing with other dogs and is great with kids.

My son is teaching her some tricks, she is so smart, she gives the paw, sits, lie’s down, and know’s what words like down, drop it and no mean. At the moment she is learning to roll over.

There is so much to say about her because she really is a great dog, i can’t understand how she was left were she was :(
Will update with some pic’s soon.

Hope everyone has a lovely easter 😀

    Hi Everyone,
Oceana came to stay with us on Friday, this is my 1st foster and I was a bit nervous but we are getting on brillantly. She is an absolute sweetheart and we are falling in love with her!
She has fitted right in and we haven’t seen any nerves at all from her.
She did have one accident on the 1st day, but I think it was just new surroundings because hasn’t had any since.
My 9yr old son is having a great time with her, they are constantly playing fetch or on the trampoline  !! Last night she went to bed with him and came down to me when he was asleep which I thought was sweet.
She is very strong on the lead and loves to chase anything that fly’s which can be a problem if your walking down the road but she has got better in only 2 days so I think time will sort that out.
I’ll add some photo’s and keep updated on how she’s getting on.

    Rachael
