Sometimes I look at her and I don’t know who rescued whom
but she’s definitely taking over ![]()

Hi folks ![]()
I thought we were overdue on an update
We are both settling into a nice rhythm with each other ![]()
Thyra’s mad phase was just a phase – I think
and she is an absolute angel.
Yvonne’s help was/is an absolute godsend and I am eternally grateful for her support
Below are a few more pictures of the little bundle of madness ![]()

Wow how time flies!
It feels like Thyra has been with me forever… and then it feels like she just moved in yesterday ![]()
I had to travel for work and missed her terribly, so it’s great to have her back with me. The house seemed so empty when she was picked up for her "holidays"…
she had a bit of a rough weekend, as she got bitten by another dog yesterday, but she is taking it all in her stride!
Took her to the vet right away and it’s all just minor scratches
She has one overworked guardian angel
I was worried that she’d get suspicious of other dogs, but this morning, she played with her buddies in the park like nothing ever happened! Her ability to cope and just move on are quite inspiring, really!
Anyways… She is now sleeping at my feet and I thought I’d send you another few snoozy pictures of her ![]()

Hi everyone,
I thought I’d post another few pictures…
she’s getting more lively and has developed a taste for socks! ![]()
She loves stealing them from the laundry and today I had to pull one out of her throat, before it went all the way down
But all is well now
Here are some more pictures of the little beauty…Tess – new Teddy.JPG

And one more picture ![]()
She really doesn’t know her size sometimes… she went for the biggest stick! (One time she even tried to pull out one of my baby apple trees
)Tess – big stick.JPG
Yvonne has really done such an amazing job!!!
Thank you so much! Your continued support means so much to both Thyra and myself!
I wanted to share a few more pictures with you guys
She still has the weirdest sleeping positions and has definitely claimed the couch as her own…. I’m merely a guest there
Today she got a nice groom (her face looks tiny now that it’s all trimmed…
)
The groomer also gave her a lovely custom triangle for her new collar as a present – what a lovely lady! They got on SO well
And she got her thundershirt today… and now she’s snoozing… so no new face pictures….yet ![]()
But I have a snoozy one

So it seems that I am joining the ranks of failed fosterers
Oooops!
She was meant to stay with me for two weeks, but I totally fell for this beauty
She’ll be renamed Thyra and I hope that we’ll have a long and happy life together
I’ll keep you all updated on her progress though ![]()
And another picture or two ![]()

So here is our Day-1 check in
Yvonne has done a wonderful job with this girl! If I didn’t know about how she was found and how difficult a time she must have had, I wouldn’t be able to even guess at it! Thank you, Yvonne!!
Now that she can move around, she is making full use of it ![]()
She is a very lively, typical puppy. Everything is SOOO interesting. Every sound and smell absolutely has to be investigated and she always looks so happy
When I move, she is immediately up on her feet, joining in wherever I go, but if I go out the back garden by myself, she is fine in the sitting room by herself for a while…
But when I sit down to work on the computer, she immediately settles. (She is the perfect footwarmer for winter!
)
She seems to feel a bit more secure today and doesn’t always sit on my feet, but rather finds a comfy and cool spot in the sitting room to chill…
The first walk went really well. She pulls a bit on the lead, but she has been on crate rest and is a young puppy. So considering that, she is wonderful on the lead!
No accidents, so that’s great
So here are some pictures for you guys ![]()

What a lovely, lovely girl!
I’m taking over foster for the next two weeks and this lady arrived today ![]()
She is a proper puppy – running in excited circles as soon as I twitch a toe (though today is an exciting day, so I guess she’ll calm down over the next few days)… but when I sit down to work, she just snoozes, draped over my feet
She sure likes human contact!
I’ll update more on how she is over the next few days ![]()

Oh congratulations, Alfie! How wonderful
And congratulations, to your fabulous foster mommy! She’s a great one ![]()
