Alfie had a great time in the park this morning running after his foster brothers and friends. Photo completely out of focus, oops…. but you’ll get the gist!
I am also an Alfie supporter Yoddy & Indiana, I know you will both be pleased to see him so happy. (I have to inform you that Alfie’s famous jumper is in the wash, so today on his outing he was little boy blue!!)

Alfie & his pals.JPGNatashaMemberI have been promised a very happy Christmas this year. Can’t wait. Love Marley

Bosco.jpgNatashaMemberFirstly, thank you Pat for your lovely post.
A little update on Marley:
Marley is now a student at Dublin Dog Training. He is doing Obedience Lessons and has begun Agility Classes. He really loves his Obedience Classes. From the moment we arrive to the moment the class ends his whole body wags frantically I am immensely proud of Marley. He walks fantastically well to heel and is a model
student. I know I am gushing here but this little man is a special member of our family and we are proud of all his milestones!!Marley didn’t take to Agility so well. He started last weekend. He can be nervous at times so found the obstacles a bit daunting at first. He went again today and after about five minutes took to it well.
Marley is a huge fan of our five year old daughter. He rushes up every morning to wake her up and wash her face!!
Marley has his mad moments like all young dogs, but overall is a fantastic little guy
NatashaMemberMarley met his Mum Rosie again today. They had great craic.

IMG_0340.JPGNatashaMemberJust an update on Marley. He is a very enthusiastic pup. He does everything with gusto from his daily runs, to his nightime bed destruction! He greets us excitedly whether it’s first thing in the morning or if we are gone for five minutes. He has given our 7 year old dog a new lease of life. He is a delight.

IMG_0297.JPGNatashaMemberWell Marley has had a wonderful day. We were walking in Skerries Mills when we came across the wonderful Rosie (his Mum). Marley & Rosie haven’t seen each other in over two months but were both thrilled to be reunited. Was a wonderful sight to witness.
NatashaMemberSome more pics of my handsome man.

IMG_0704.jpgNatashaMemberCan’t express how thrilled i am that lelia is being adopted. Met her in the pound and my heart broke into a million little pieces seeing her terror. we spent a long time with her sitting beside her in her kennel trying to comfort her and were both genuinely heartbroken leaving her. she is such a sweetheart who needed a special family to give her her confidence back. so thrilled she has found them. special little lelia will now get the special home she deserves. x x x
NatashaMemberMarley is such a dote. He is growing quickly but he still likes a little cuddle in your arms.
He doesn’t travel well in the car so we are bringing him on short journeys somewhere nice and gradually building up journey time.
He did his first Home Visit for Dogs in Distress over the weekend and was very well behaved.
Marley is with us now five weeks but it’s hard to remember a time when he wasn’t with us.
Marley is now getting sneaky rubs from our elderly cats and has been spotted in bed with them.
He is a little gem of a dog.
2008 044.JPGNatashaMemberSo glad that Lelia is in foster. We met her at the pound and our hearts broke for her. She was petrified. She is a gentle & timid little soul who deserves a loving family of her own. Delighted she is safe in the hands of a Dogs in Distress foster family whom we are sure will help build her confidence. Lelia is a special little girl.
NatashaMemberThanks a million Jenny. We are thrilled that Marley is staying with us. He has completely stolen our hearts. Thanks also for taking such good care of his Mum Rosie.
NatashaMemberWe are all thrilled that Marley is here to stay. We absolutely adore him & he is a very much loved family member.
Thanks Georgia for your good wishes.
NatashaMemberThis little guy is extremely intelligent. He now knows the commands "sit", "down" and "look". He can "fetch" and "leave it". He is getting the hang of the command "stay".
Steve (Marley) gets his dinner at 5 p.m. every evening but I was a little late yesterday feeding him. By 5.45 p.m. he obviously thought I needed a reminder and walked over to his bowl and tapped it with his foot. Couldn’t believe my eyes! He is a really intelligent guy.
Steve (Marley) is a brilliant puppy. He just loves everything and everybody in life. He loves companionship whether it be human or the doggy kind. He accepts cats and sleeps in the kitchen with ours every evening but he prefers dogs. He is brilliant with children. He loves to go to the beach and his recall is excellent. He will make someone a fantastic pet. He is a darling of a puppy.
NatashaMemberSteve is such a happy puppy. Our dog Casey has a huge soft spot for Steve. They spend their days playing together.
Steve has asked me to let you into a little secret. He really doesn’t like the name Steve so we are calling him Marley while he stays with us!
