Hi all. Just a little update on my girls. As you are probably all aware by now I have Roxy and Bindi and a house guest for a week The Beautiful Miss Lola. She is on her Happy Holidays with me while her Forever Family Are in Spain for a week, More about her later. Well Roxy and Bindi are brilliant. She is a right little Diva and great in every way. Her and Bindi are glued at the hip and she looks after Bindi ever so well. They are both brilliant in the house especially when I go to work and never an accident. Roxy is a good watch dog. They are both brilliant with kids and fantastic with all dogs. They are very obedient and know all my house rules. Roxy would certainly be the more outgoing of the two while Bindi is a little more reserved. They are both very gentle and love their cuddles and Bindi just adores been brushed. They would be perfect together in a family envirnoment. I,m trying to rehome them together as it would be a sin to split them now and together they are so undemanding as they have each other. So fingers crossed. They are both getting on great with Lola as you will see from the pics on the way,And guess whose boss, its Roxy thats after me of course. Maura.
MauraMemberMauraMemberHi all. Well my girls are just doing great. They have been spayed and have recovered and are back to normal. Bindi,s coat is now a shinny mass and she enjoys her brushing. The pair of them are inseperable and I dont think they would do very well apart so I,m putting out a request for them to be homed together if possible. They definetly need to have another dog as company for each other. As they are both young and active they both need a good excerise routine as they like to run free and play. They are both very sociable and brilliant with other dogs and kids and anything else that might happen to pass by. Roxy has a mind of her own and can have selective hearing when it suits. Off the lead they will not go far away from me and constantly check to make sure I,m still there. Bindi is very good on a lead and would not be as confident as Roxy. Roxy is a proper little Diva and of course the boss. Both are housetrained and I can go to work and they wait paitiently till I return. Both are adorable and very lovable and affecionate and adore their belly rubs. So I,m keeping my fingers crossed that someone out there takes a shine to both of them or that they both go to a home as a second dog. Just a little pic coming up of the pair enjoy the sunshine.Maura..
MauraMemberMauraMemberMauraMemberMauraMemberHi All. Well Bindi is doing fantastic. Her hair is really growing. She is a very good girl and her and Roxy are glued at the hips. Roxy is like a new doggie and is teaching Bindi the tricks of the trade. Bindi has gotten the hang of the ball catching. They both sleep in the kitchen and not a peek from them till I get up in the morning. Bindi loves been brushed and is a very gentle girl. They both love been in the garden and spend most of the time out there sunning themselves and playing and snozzing on their blanket. They both hate the rain. Bindi is a very well mannered girl. They both are getting spayed on Tues morning. Bindi is a very good eater and is not fussy. She will eat anything. I have her on Eukanuba Junior and she loves it. I took a couple of pics of the pair of them in the garden today. Will keep you posted.
MauraMemberMauraMemberMauraMemberMauraMemberMauraMemberMauraMemberMauraMemberHi again everyone. Well Bindi is coming on in leaps and bounds. No accidents in the house and her hair is starting to grow. She loves been brushed is enjoying her twice daily walks in the park with Roxy. We have got a routine going and she is catching on fast. I think she may have a touch of kennel cough as she started coughing slightly last night and again today so I,m off to the vets with her in the morning. Here are a few pics of the pair of them. Maura.
MauraMemberHi all. Thanks for the caring comments. Well where do I start. I took Bindi to my vets on thurs morning for a check up and she got wormed, vaxed, some flea treament and some pills for a slight touch of dermatitis. My vet says she is only 8 or 9 mnths old as she has just gotten her teeth and they are pearly white. She is coming on well and her and Roxy are as thick as thieves. Roxy spends half the day cleaning her and licking her bald patches. Ears eyes and everthing else gets a going over. She is alot more relaxed and gaining in confidence. She is a most gentle dog and very affecionate. She is very good on the lead and she has the most beautiful walk just like a horse doing dressage. She is a hungry little girl and she is a bit of a scavanger. She reminds me of an ally cat. She has had no accidents in the house since Wed and she is a fast learner. She now knows her name and to do sit. Last night was the first time the pair of them slept in the kitchen and me in my bed. I had been sleeping on the couch as she had been crying if I left the room so finally the breakthrough came. She loves been in the garden and I have a sneeky suspicion that that is where she spent most of her time. My ugly duckling will be a beautiful Swan soon. In the meantime I,ll just die of embarrasment walking through the park with her. You should see how easy it is to scatter some of the natives when they see her coming, I can only imagine what they are thinking. I have a few pics on the way for you.
