This sounds like the perfect dog (to me). I’m partial to retrievers, but I’d think he would suit many families that enjoy both exercising, and training with their dog, but also taking it easy in front of the TV with a cuddle friendly dog.
If I was living in Ireland I would love to introduceJones to my young Labrador x girl. She thrives in the company of another dog, and we are planning to get her, and us another canine family member. Preferably an Irish one, since our girl is a rescue from Ireland, and we’re so happy with her.

How much does Jones weigh now at 10 months? Is he tall or like a typical hunting Labrador? How old was he when he was surrendered into DID’s care?

Anyway, you obviously take good care of the fella until he get a permanent family. Great job!
