well jessie did her first obedience test today
we went into the pre-beginners and she got placed 3rd out of a big class so was delighted with her just goes to show what recued dogs can do !hektor turned 1 yesterday
so he celebrated with what he loves best..cant be got in any pet store
Very expensive plastic bottles Well I was a proud mummy on Sunday when Tilly won her agility class brought home a red rossette and upgraded to grade two
To think i’ll have her two years in may..and from doing obedience and starting agility and everytime she jumped a jump would just throw herself on the ground from whatever she brought with her from her past troubles..to THISahh thanks guys
dont worry about the tunnel some dogs take a while to get used to it then love it
so best of luck to yous Well ive been doing the odd training class with jessie..shes only had about 15 lessons all together and took every on no bother so she did her 2nd show there last week so heres just a small glimse of how good she is

i see this guy at training and i have to say was just fantasic for his new mammy in agility training yesterday they have both come so farPM’d you back debo
I would deffinately recommend bringing Misty to training classes..she could just have no cofidence if she is not used to other dogs around her so the sooner you get her socialised the better for both of you..if you are nervous walking her she will pick up on this as well so someone with experience to guide you would help you both
its not a breed thing so i wouldnt be putting it down to that..just like people every dog is different..
dogs are quick to learn and if they are like their mammy they will be quick learners so a simple training session could help you when done right..for example teaching your dog to ‘look at me’ and the dog looks at you can distract before the confrontation between your and another dog even starts once you know when to pick up on it. there are plenty of training classes around and doesnt have to be obidence you can do something fun like trying agility. Tilly goes weekly to dublin dog training where she loves it and when she is working doesnt care about any other dogs around her only what she is doinghoping it works out for both you guys

Did anything happen in the park that she had gotten defencive ? did a dog have a go at her at any stage ?for eg if it was a collie type that she had a run in with all other similar dogs may remind her therefore she straight away gets in attack mode… dogs do go through phases but they also come into themselves as they get older just like kids would and develope their personalities….the drop and roll submissive thing is exactly what Tilly does (aka the hope i think you are talking about)..
You would have to see when she is doing it to help and see the circumstances when she does do it..for eg..is it younger dogs she does it to now that she is older and tring to keep a pecking order..
Tilly is exactly the same…but i know the dogs she wont get on with and the dogs she will…for that reason she doesnt get off the lead with dogs she or i do not know unfortunately..

has been hard work but we are getting there
hes been to a few obidence classes and out socialising alot:) still hard to pass other dogs…hes just excited and barks and cries and of course cause of the breed people tend to cross the road or pick their dogs up but of course this makes him worse…
a few have stopped and all he wants to do is say hello and play..he loves going going in the car with fellow DID sister tilly and other big brother and running amuck
just last week end alone he supported his sister at her agility show and the next day was off to wicklow to walk the mountains and had his obedience on monday..when i was waking him at 530 on tues morn you should of seen his face..the look just said – are you serious…its hard being a puppy although hes already now bigger then his big brother ! and still has growing to do by the looks of his paws my others halfs friend just keeps calling him a lion 093.JPGhek.jpghektor.jpg
