Chase got a good walk out this morning. As there were people arriving to the pound when he was out, I thought it a good idea to keep him out and do a bit of socialising. He is a great dog, he is strong on the lead but once out for a bit, stops pulling and all he wants is to sniff everybit of ground. His tail never stops wagging. He is quite an independent fella really, lovely dog.

I took pippa out with another little dog. Pippa is always happy to see everyone and today was no exception. Pippa needs a lifeline soon. She would have gone back into the kennel sooner if I had not encouraged her to come for another lap. She really did not want to be away from the pound staff, her security blanket. I hope she is not starting to get anxious. She is only a little baby who gets on really well with other dogs. She really needs a foster or forever home soon.

Rudy remains as lovely as ever, he was exceptionally loving this morning. Cuddles is what he seemed to want more than the actual walk. As I had Reese out as well, I picked up Rudy and walked around for a while with him in my arms. Reese was wondering where her little pal had gone and I think would have liked to climb up as well.

Checker was out with me this morning. Brown Collar. He has really calmed down and gives you lots of loving, leaning his body against you. He really has a handsome face. I hope he gets out of the pound. Himself and his brother are now both in serious danger. Can anyone give one, or other or both of these sweet dogs a chance, please.

There was a lovely couple at Ashton today. They have booked Jonesy and were hoping to take him home today but they have to wait until his time is up which is tomorrow. They have even chosen a new name and all going in their favour, will be call the dog Harvey.

Alvin must have Duracell batteries installed. This lovely little dog with the shortest of legs will just go, absolutely loves the walks. Cute loving little dog.

Pippa is a little sweetheart. Just full of love for everyone. Gets on great with other dogs, in fact my friend had Alvin the cute little yorkie out and I took both together for a while and they were fantastic walking side by side. Pippa is just a ball of affection.

Issac is a strong dog and oh so lovable. He was pulling on the lead a bit but as with most of these strong dogs they need to just go the minute they are out and about. Issac calmed down very quickly once he was out. He is good with other dogs.

Jonesy is a beautiful dog. My friend had him out for a walk. I took him out of the kennel, he was a little timid at first but gently licked my hand and out he came. He walked well and did the usual Border Collie stuff, keeping us all in the group together. I was very taken with Jonsey.

Chase was out for a walk with me on New Years eve. Walked well on the lead, was quite strong. Chase did not want to go back into the Kennel, poor thing!

Josie is a good dog on the lead. She will have a good run with you around the field if you are inclined. She shows her appreciation by lying down for the belly rub. A very lovable dog. I hope someone falls in love with her, she would be so loyal and faithful. A forever dog!

Rudy was out today with me for a walk. The lovely Rudy so lovable. Rudy walks really well with another dog who has yet to go on the site. They get on really well. Rudy deserves the best forever home as soon as possible.

Chuck and Checker were out walking today. Chuck with the red collar gave me a lovely greeting. They are both getting better on the lead. They are lovely lovely dogs. Checker now has a brown collar which is not as easy to come off but I thinks its now on another Boxer X dog and it came off twice. Be warned!! He was lovely so came back easily

I was wondering about Eliah/Ruby as I did not see her in the pound over the christmas. It was lovely of you Anna to take her for short term foster. She looks happier as a result and ready for her next foster or hopefully her forever home.
    Thanks
