Hi all!
Just a quick update on Sheebs!
She is officially the baby of the family and has everyone wrapped around her paws! Its terrible shes getting cheekier by the minute but there’s no telling her off she just too damn cute and we all love her to bits!!!
She has lots of new hobbies such as-
-knocking over the recycling bin when hanging out the back and licking everything in it crystal clean; she particularly enjoys cleaning the butter container for us!
-counter surfing after we go to bed and seeing what we’ve forgot to put away! So far shes helped us get rid of 2 hams (you’d think wed learn) chocolate covered pretzels, a box of tea bags, a massive bag of super nice dog treats intended for training purposes so you know they where good, a steak… i could go on
-Jumping on the beds when were trying to make them (clearly just trying to help i know) and using our beds to snooze after her breakfast
-and stuffing her nose under my door and making loud sniffy noises to make sure i wake up and don’t be late for anything like feeding her her breakfast

In return tho she does let me dress her up (she was a ladybug for Halloween) and use her as a heated foot pillow!

Ozzy has been with us a week now and he is being the best four legged house guest we’ve had! Even with our poor Sheebs being a bit grumpy with him his tail never stops wagging!

Oscar is super bright and so willing to please! He loves his food inside and outside the house so any extra training he needs could be easily done with something tasty as a reward! Today we used carrots and he didn’t turn his nose up at one piece! He knows sit, stay, down, drop, leave it and paw! He knows where his bed is and will jump in if you ask ( especially at night when he gets his night time snack) He is fab on the lead! Its a real treat walking him as he is so good! And he is amazing at playing fetch! Always brings the ball back without fail!

As Kathy said he loves to sing in the car but if we open the window and there’s a breeze blowing through the car he falls asleep on us If he manages to stay awake his head is out the window letting the wind blow through his hair ( and massive ears) ! Speaking of massive he has the biggest paws I have ever seen on a dog before they are so chubby and fat its terribly cute! But it also makes him super quite so he can sneak up on you and you wouldn’t know!

He has the sweetest face that always has a questioning look about it! With his black button nose and freckles and huge ears he could get away with lots so anyone interested in him be warned he will have you wrapped around his chubby paws

He is turning out to be the best of both really; playful as a puppy but well mannered and able to relax and chill on quite days that comes with a bit of age! A real gem!

Hi Everyone!!

Well Sheeba decided to adopt us! your right Fredisbest and Indianna she took her time! I think after I told her she had been with us for 7 months she decided it wasn’t such a bad set up we had here!

We are all delighted!! And thank you everyone for all your lovely messages for us and Sheebs! Shows how much she is loved by the DID family!

And we promise to continue to post lots of pictures of her!

The one below is of her after just ONE brush while she was blowing her coat; I think we’ve forgotten the amount of hair she does actually loose twice a year but for now we are hair loss free and loving our cuddles with her! I took this photo in May but decided not to post it as it may not be the most "adopt me" photo!

Oh our Sheeba! Its been a while since I updated her page but tonight’s events I had to share! She is still a dote and a pleasure to have around as always!
But I came home tonight from a lovely evening out to be told that there is no dinner for tomorrow night….why??…. because Miss Sheebs ate it!! My Mam had cooked a lovely BIG roast ham for tomorrow night and left it out to cool down on the kitchen counter never thinking that anything would happen to it! Miss Sheebs had other plans! Helped herself to the WHOLE lot!!!!! The smell must have been too tempting! I mean all you can do is laugh and rub her big tummy!! She managed to lick the plate clean without moving it from the spot on the counter! Mam thought I had put it away and went searching for it in the oven and the fridge and the microwave; it took a good few minutes for her to realise what had happened as its so out of character for Sheeba!

So we’re all on tummy watch tonight hopefully it won’t upset her too much!

Shebs is so sad that the hot weather is gone

She went swimming each day that the weather was hot and just couldn’t understand why we weren’t following her in ( we were very tempted tho). We couldn’t get her out of the water either she kept running back for one last dip – about twenty times! Even had her out at the beach which she always loves but even more so because the water was warm (I got in to my knees with her there but of course with Shebs running around in the waves I was soaked to my elbows) !! She had all the other dogs jealous because shes such a good swimmer! We had a lovely summer

She continues to be a pleasure to be around and always has us smiling and laughing

The wonderful Sheebs is still with us here! Being spoilt rotten! But its hard not to shes too cute and smart! So cute and smart in fact she unforgettable!!!

Myself and Sheebs while out on a walk where waved down by a lovely man and woman ( if your reading this I’m so sorry Ive forgotten your names ) Turns out this lovely man and woman where Sheebs previous foster family from 4 years ago!! They couldn’t believe she was in foster again as they too had nothing but amazing things to say about her! Her foster dad still even had videos and pictures on his phone of her swimming and playing! It put a pep in our step that day as its so lovely to hear from people who have meet Sheeba and seen and remember her amazingness! They’re not the first! But its also sad too as she still hasn’t found her forever home to share all she has to offer!

Anyone out there who would love a dog who loves their walks, can play fetch 99.9% perfectly (occasionally we need to trade her something for the ball ) trained to sit, stay, lay down and to give the paw ( were teaching kiss, touch and watch at the mo ) curls up at your feet to snooze, likes a big dog cuddle in the morning or a hot water bottle for your feet at night Sheebs is for you! She amazing! And the ONLY reason she is not staying with me is I’m still in college and living at home, id hate if I kept her and my circumstances changed resulting in her going into foster again It wouldn’t be fair and I will be devastated (there will be many tears) when she leaves but she deserves her forever home to be forever!

Just some pics!

Even though shes a GSD and the biggest dog we’ve had; it feels like shes the smallest!! some times we forget shes around and when we go look for her shes conked out on the landing snoozing and stretching her toes! Just cant express how good and beautiful she is inside and out! I feel like I’m repeating myself but i don’t have a bad word to say about her

I don’t know what to say about our Sheeba! She is just amazing!!!

Its like shes been here years! She hasn’t put us out in any way and has just worked around the routine in our house! I don’t think anyone could ask for a better dog really!
