Hi Guys,

Yes it looks like Gizmo has a Schnauzer in him! We visited the vet on Monday he asked if Gizmo would balance on his tip toes and you’ll see what I mean when you look at the pictures attached
Apparently that’s a trait in Schnauzers haha!
The groomer also thought she could see a mini Schnauzer in him!

Gizmo’s getting on fantastic.. enjoying every minute of his company! He’s is so so friendly and welcomes everyone who comes to our home!

He really is a gas character – everyone that meets him says so! He knows how to get Nick going which is funny – Gizmo would give a little bark if he hears something outside but would stay on the couch and let Nick do the investigations

Himself and Nick are wonderful together, keep each other great company.. Gizmo is definitely the Cuddler of the too! He loves it up on the couch with us!

He’s really enjoying the lovely weather – he could sunbathe for hours

Hi Jean,

Nick is getting on great! We have Nick and Gizmo 9 weeks now, it feels like we have them for months and months as we all know each other so well now!

The pair of them got their annual booster at the vet on Monday – the vet was very impressed with them, thought they were great. He knows us for years as we have brought our previous pets there so he was happy to see us with pets again.

Have to say Nick is like a big cuddly toy! He’s like my personal body guard when Brian works night shifts. Everyone in the neighbourhood thought he was an Alsation as he has his spot at the window in the porch and probably looks bigger than expected

We had an annual Spring Clean day with the neighbours on Saturday and they all found him and Gizmo so nice and friendly

We have a special place we like to bring them for regular walks – it’s in a huge field area beside the canal where there is a stream and waterfall! Nick loves going into the stream and waterfall.

I’ve attached some recent pictures of Nick on his walks and some from even my lunch break yesterday.

Thanks once again for all DiD have done for us!

Wow Jean, that picture of Nick is just beautiful…
Nick has been with us 12 days now and have been the best days you could ask for! He’s sleeping well and is exellent when it comes to toileting! Nick is getting on very well with his new bro Gizmo! They are so well suited and love messing around with each other for hours on end! He’s a little shyer than Gizmo but is getting there… He loves going for walks and runs in Castletown House – himself and Gizmo have made friends with their cousin Dobermans who get on amazingly! He also enjoys strolls on the canal and is getting better on his lead.. overall we can’t believe how quick he is settling – really delighted with our boy

Hi Esma, hope you are keeping well! Sorry for the delay in our post – as u can imagine every spare moment we have is with the boys!! His first night was fine, he slept well with us in the bedroom in his own little bed and continues to do so! Not a bother on him! He is so well house trained its great, we know exactly when he needs to go! I’ve uploaded some more pictures.. he was at the groomers today where he had a great time – his coat is so soft and nice smelling today! We’ll see how long that will last with this little messer Himself and Nick are like soul-mates! Getting on so well with each other! They play together alot – Gizmo is well able for him! Nick’s first day with us has been great! He has started to come out of his shell and settling in very well. He is very gentle and affectionate!

We are so happy to have him and also Gizmo as his little companion. We’d like to say a big thank you to all at DiD, Claire, Dave & Helen!
