This guy is now in foster with us in Wicklow! He was the only one not barking & shouting for attention when I arrived at the pound and he looked so sad that he pulled at the heart strings
He was very good in the car and eventually settled down enough to rest a while. He’s been cryin a little since we got home but i’m hopeful he’ll settle in ok.
He’s showing a little too much interest in our dogs (both female) for their liking but we’ll work on changing his interest to something else
He’s sitting in the crate now whining a little and tryin to catch my eye lol so I’m gonna go feed him and get him ready for a little walk.
He’s already wee’d about 3 times in the kitchen lol ..
Will post up some photos this evening.jennie78MemberThis little guy has settled in so well to his new forever home We’ve seen him a few times over the last few days and he’s running around as if he’s always lived there. He loves his new bed and all of his toys too
jennie78MemberI posted too soon lol somebody else is fostering this little lady
Hope she’ll be okay until then ..jennie78MemberWe’re hoping to take this poor little lady in tomorrow morning. Will update once we’ve got her home safely

jennie78MemberAlfie, know known as Simba, went to his new family yesterday
jennie78MemberAlfie’s feeling very sorry for himself today!! The reality of his little op yesterday has hit him today. He’s shying away from cuddles and wants his bed instead but that’s okay. He’s starting to perk up a bit now. Poor fella
jennie78MemberAlfie in his post-op head gear
jennie78MemberAlfie is not long home from the vets. He had his little boy op today .. He’s obviously a bit uncomfortable but he’s in good form. He’s eaten and had plenty to drink so he’s happy to go to bed now
jennie78Memberhe looks gorgeous
jennie78MemberAlfie’s been playing about so much this mornin he’s already had to go for a nap! He’s wrecked himself out
Here are some pictures of him from this morning. This is the new "toy" he discovered this morning and he’s been throwing it and chasing it, kicking it, sniffing it out from under the sofa .. we’ve had a great laugh with him this morningjennie78MemberAlfie is the best behaved dog ever! We had visitors this morning that he’d never met before and there was no jumping or hopping about or looking for attention. He lay on the floor where he had been when they came in until he was called over. He is a pleasure to have around the house
jennie78Memberwow, really cute photos
jennie78MemberThis little guy is just gone out for his last walk of the day. He’s spent the evening laid out on the sitting room floor watching a DVD with us
Can’t even begin to say how good and how cute he is. He’s so adorable. He’s definitely not completely house trained but even in the few days he’s been with us he’s done so well and is learning very quickly.
He was much better in the car today than he has been any other day too. I think he’s startin to relax which is lovely.
We all love him to bits here -
