Mightybelle, it must be very upsetting for you. You invested a lot into Bailey and then were let down terribly. It says a lot that you are even on this forum advocating for him so you and your wife should not be too hard on yourselves. If he’s not a match for the family he met yesterday I would love to meet him. Either way he’s landed back on his feet.

Hi – I only registered yesterday and submitted a reply. It hasn’t appeared yet for some reason. Is Bailey adopted yet or is he sorted? Do you now why he lost all the weight? was it neglect and cruelty or could it be an underlying condition?

Hi I am a proud basset owner and recently have had reason to mind different dogs including a near dead starved dog over Christmas. Last week I minded a JRT and the big thing we’ve learned is that another dog in the house is great. Iveagh has had a lease of life with the company. I have 2 kids a girl almost 9 and boy 12. I am self employed but home most of the time. I am interested to know more about Bailey. Perhaps you might think he mightn’t be a good match for our family but anyway – I just thought I’d bounce you a message. how is he with young people? Why is he so skinny? Was it neglect or an underlying condition? Well done on your work with him.
